Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of learning, the fact that a number of the classes and projects involve practical learning and experience is a big boon for the students. It can be hectic but it definitely adds a lot to the repertoire of the students and helps them prepare for the world of corporate.
Internships Opportunities
As for internship, students are given three months to six months of internship or apprenticeship, and every student is given the opportunity to work as intern or apprentice. A lot of the big FMCG, finance companies take interns from the college each year.
Placement Experience
Most of the students get placed in general, although the quality of placement may differ a lot depending on the students and the company that they're placed in. Average package is around 4-4.5 lacs overall. A lot of companies come for placement including the big 4 consultancy firms, 2-3 of the big 5 FMCG companies of India to mention a few.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure involves four installments for each semester as well as two extra payments done for the career development planning. There's Vivekananda Scholarship available for the students who meet a certain criteria. As for financial assistance, education loan from the state government aka Student Credit Card Loan. In terms of campus placement, it is adequate but definitely has room for improvement.
Campus Life
The campus life involves a lot of practical events such as Aspire to Achieve, Brand Wars, Ultimate Startup Plan etc which help students to progress their teamwork, project creating, public speaking, communication and for some the leadership skills. The institute uses projectors to teach through presentation mode, helping understand the subjects better. There are also more than a dozen clubs, run by students and having one or two faculty members as mentor, helping students learn some extracurricular activities.
Admission
The criteria for the admission process involved graduation from any regular course at the bachelor's level, a Personal Interview with the counselor. As for the process, certain areas of improvement could include things such as a more thorough evaluation such as an aptitude test.
