REALITY OF KCCITM

The course curriculum is based on Abdul Kalam technical University (AKTU). The exams are held semester wise 2 times per year. In total there are 8 semesters in 4 years to finally get a Btech degree . The subjects that are teached can be improved because the same syllabus is being teached from last 20 years.

Internships are available from the college side but few , I have completed my first semester and I have seen only one or two internship programs. Many of the students also apply for the internships beyond the college. Group of friends share links to each other of the other internship programs.

The placements from Kccitm is average. An average package after completing btech is around 4-6 lpa. College provides few internships programs, as I have completed my first semester and hackathon is organised. Some of the students also apply for internship beyond the college. Personally, I don't want to take placement from college as I'll do my own business.

The total fee of a btech degree in our college is 400000/- For 8 semesters. The fee per semester is 50000/- . Which also includes additional fee of 7500/- termed as exam fee which is taken per year. You can get scholarship on the basis of 12th marks and JEE mains rank. I got 12500/- off in my first semester fee because of my 12th marks

The infrastructure is quite good in our college. The annual fest named FUEL is organised by the college per year . The campus life is little disciplined towards academics. You can not get out from the college before 4 p.m .The campus also includes volleyball court, basketball court, cricket nets, lawn tennis ground and one or two more things.

The admission process was simple. You got admission on the basis of 12th marks and your JEE mains rank. You just need to score above 60% in physics and maths to get admission. And also an admission form of approximately 800/- is filled at the time of admission.
