Course Curriculum Overview
unlike other colleges, amity teaches both painting and applied for the first two semesters and even after that still has at least one subject related to the other option for the other semester. it also prepared you for real-world application by teaching other subjects like b com, EVS, foreign language, etc. the theory subject are straight to the point and the practical subjects even though lacking in the first two semesters have greatly improved due to the newly introduced module system where one practical subject is taught throughout the week
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees structure is 30000 for the first two semesters, 40000 for the 3rd and 4th, and 42000-45000 for the 5th, 6rh, 7th and 8rh getting SGP above 9 reduces the fees substantially depending on the semester and I don't know about the other fine arts subjects but there is absolutely 0 campus employment for painting
Campus Life
there are some good retractable tables in our class but it is one short as we have 11 people with only 10 tables and an annual exhibition for our whole department on campus once a year and other than that it holds festivals such as : amiphoroa which is a 3-day festival held in February, DJ night held once a day yearly, and noboborsho celebration. There is not much in the name of sports but we have an excellent student-run art club which organizes various events.
Admission
the application process was very simple and easy to navigate compared to the other colleges I was applying for, there was no entrance exam as it is not needed for fine arts courses but I did have to record a message online answering a few very appropriate questions regarding art. the application form is easy to locate on their website
