Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of relevance to each and everyone. We look outside and see buildings, bridges, roads,raiways etc that are the gifts given by civil engineering.Here in Jamia the civil engineering is considered to be one of the best courses in the university.There is quite a balance between lab work and theory.The concept building is the prior objective of all the teachers.Also there are tons of projects going on all around the university.Any aspirant who has an urge to do it can join but hardwork is the key to success remember.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship in the last year but if you want to go for internship outside the college curriculum,you can go for it.College internships are without any stipend.So there are options available for you to go for.
Placement Experience
The placements are OK but u cant be cent percent sure of getting placed.The percentage is increasing year by year of placements.The packages were about 6-8 lpa.There are many companies that come in our campus like L&T,Voltas,Siemens etc.
College Events
There are many fests conducted throughout the year.There are many societies that are formed and they organise fests every year that helps nurture the talents of the students.College authorities fully support the students and help them conduct it smoothly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for first year at the time of admission was Rs 11850. From 2nd to last year the fee is only Rs 8050 per annum. The fee is very less.Easily affordable.Getting quality education at such a price is rarity nowadays.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college gives many scholarships for helping the needy and talented ones who possess caliber to perform good but are not fortunate enough to have money enough to pay the college fee.
Hostel Facilities
I reside in hostel but there is a problem in jamia of getting the hostel.Most student stay outside in rented rooms.The food in hostel is good and outside also there are hundreds of hotels that offer hygenic and healthy food at reasonable prices.
Alumni/Alumna
There are sessions conducted for us to interact with our seniors who have graduated and are at a good position today.They share their insights,motivate us,tell tricks to excel etc.
Faculty
The faculty is acclaimed to be one of the best in the country with highly qualified teachers who emphasize on logic and concept building.Most of the teachers have done doctorate from renowned universities.
