Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose is Mechanical engineering,And since I took it at my own will and interest its going good so far. Practical xams are given more emphasis than practical and a 100% attendance is a necassity. There is a research and development block built separately for students who wish to do so.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are splendid. And are very cheap compared to prices outside. I have attempted some of an and a internship based on entrepreneurship was held and the entry fee was just 250rs and the main speaker being a representative from paypal who exposed us to the real hard ships faced by entrepreneurs doing their startups ect. The internships held are well worth your time and money.

Placement Experience

I am doing my SEM1 and our placement training starts at SEM2. But a computer science student was placed at a monthly salary of 2 lakhs .

Fees and Financial Aid

I had gotten through the MERIT SEAT provided via the enterance exam. The topper of all branches are provided with scholarships.

Hostel Facilities

I'm not a hosteler, it's a sharing room with 6 members . The hostel fees is 66,000 one year with an annual instalment the only option you are left with. Food is exemplary compared to other hostel food and mutton is provided weekly once. Food is never an issue at the hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

The faculty members are very good and experienced who explain every bit of information with a detailed diagram and explanation .They are very much interactive and focuses on the weak students and make sure to complete the portions way before the SEM exams. The standards of teaching is good and as I said they teach with dedication and commitment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

How is life at Sathyabama?
