Course Curriculum Overview
Increased preference towards practical application in the curriculumcan be seen, but it still needs much more attention. Frequency and timings are satisfactory with some hectic exam seasons time to time nonetheless.
Internships Opportunities
Many partnerships with companies or organizations are offered. Reaching out to alumni, professors and proffesionals in your field of interests will also help. Workshops in partnership woth many organizations are held.
Placement Experience
The placements are pretty good. Usually from 6th to 8th semester, you really get into the placement process. A wide variety of companies visit every year offering really good packages. The highest package has been arpund 40 lpa in EIE department with average being 10 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college and course fees counts up to 1 lakh, but along with this additional ?20,000 is added for SKILL LABS which is a 1 to 2 week long training on practical stuff outside the conventional topics of the curriculum.
Campus Life
Campus is satisfactory. The crowd seen in RVCE is good too. Provides a place for improvement by making it easier to find people and similar interests and competitiveness. Numerous clubs can be found from coding, robotics to cubing. Provides a great place to hone your knowledge and skills of your interests.
Admission
My admissions was done through KCET. Certain aspects of kcet admission is tedious and confusing, but I think it goes with every competitive exam and admissions. Once you get selected through kcet, the fee details, college details and kea center will be notified. But on the day of visiting the kea, be prepared to spend almost your whole day there. I guess crowd management and online college listing process needs to be improved.
