Course Curriculum Overview
The course is mainly based on water bodies and species related to water bodies It provides an exposure to sea and ocean Scuba diving will be a part of this course from next academic year Over dependence on teachers will not help us. Self study and note preparation is also important
Fees and Financial Aid
Rs 8000 is needed at the time of admission but there no such amounts for further move. Examination fees are very less There are several scholarships are available for every students based on their financial status, performance etc. Also Inspire fellowship is given those student who got first rank in MSc final examination This course has wide range of opportunities including ocean, medicine, ornamental industries, inland fishing etc
Campus Life
There are so many cultural programs happening every year such as campus carnival, Researchers fest, Onam fest, Christmas fest etc Campus have a Campus library and each department have a separate library also. Students can borrow books from department library. But no students are allowed to borrow books from campus library, but they are allowed to read in the library itself. Books from all area are available in the library. All department have enough technical support. Sports and Arts are held in all years. Several clubs are there to improve student's skill named 'Samsakara'
Admission
Eligibility for MSc Aquatic Biology and fisheries is graduation in Zoology, Fisheries, aquaculture, marine biology, oceanography etc The admission is based on the score obtained from the entrance examination conducted by Kerala University The entrance examination is not too difficult The registration will starts in March, April months
