Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty good and exhaustive, though there is less chances of practical learning. Research initiatives are few. There are many elective options.

Internships Opportunities

The internships are also at par, though not very good. Few big companies and mostly the startups come to the campus for internships, though some good profiles are offered.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is average. The average placement go to 8.5 lakhs per annum CTC. Many big companies and also the startups come to the campus.

College Events

The college has a lot of academic and non academic clubs that organizes several fest's and cultural and educational programs. The students are always ready to participate and we get fair participation from other colleges as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are only 10lakhs for full-time..very much affordable. The 10lakhs are for 2years full time. Other than that u can keep 3lkahs for hostel and food and 2lakhs for pocket expenses.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities and rooms are at par, though the quality of food are below par.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

The faculty is very qualified and interactive. They are all well learned in their respective fields. they are well behaved and ready to help anytime u want.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
