Likes
- Library facility is good. 3 floor building with central ac and lots of books makes it amazing space.
- Sports facilities are good. There is a large ground in which cricket, football, etc. can be played.
- Location of college is good. Everything is accessisble from college. It is in the posche area so things are costlier in the area.
Dislikes
- Infrastucture of college is too old. COnsrtuction services are not too good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum good far enough. Curriculum have some real world applications.It prepares well for job and internship oppurtunities. But some old fashioned subjects are still there like engineering drawing in which we have to manually make drawings. Instead cad softwares can be used which will give better exposure in real life training. Teaching method is good but classrooms are old and lack modern facilities
Internships Opportunities
Internship oppurtunities are not too good here. Very few companies visit to proide interships. However students may try off campus. There projects which proffesors works on. Students can work under themin such projects and gain experiece with stippened.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. Students can sit for placements from 7th semester. many companies visit the college for recruitment in different domain. Highest package is around 44 lpa and average package is of 9 lpa. Around 70-75% students who are elligible for placement get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there is 5-10 % increase in tution fees. The complete cost for 4 years in general category will around 7-8 lacs. Scholarships are there for sc,st adn girls. There is no tution fee for sc and at students. Fee remissions are there whose annual income is less than 6 lacs. They also provide loans at cheaper rates. Placemets in colleges are good enough with average package of 9 lpa. Intern oppurtunities are less but student can apply off campus.
Campus Life
Campus life is good here. It has basic facilities like outdoor sports ground,indoor sports, gym, library, dispensary, garden,etc. Library has very good book and journal collection including digital books. Sports activities include cricket, football, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, tenis, badminton, pool, etc. Not all classrooms are equipped with modern facilities like smartboard. There several technical and non technical students chapters which provide students explore different ones. There are technical and cultural anual fests.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good but sometimes water shortages are there. There electricity all time. Rooms are big enough for sharing of 2. Internet service are there. Room is privided with bed, chair, table and almirah. Food quality is also good in mess with 3 meals serving per day.
Admission
Candidates have to appear for jee main exam and qualify it.Then they have to participate in jossa counselling. According to rank and choices students will be alloted seat in different government colleges according to rank. Cutoff for diifferent branches are different .There are reservations for obc,sc,st,girls and home state.
