Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite good, very relevant to real life job,teaching can be improved because I think in higher semester their is lack of quality teachers.Also I think lab practice should be improved as it's important to have practical knowledge of our field.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like TCS and Wipro give internship opportunities to students in our college which I think is really a great opportunity for us to shine.Also intershala has tieup with our college due to which we get a vast exposure for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement rate is quite decent. Our college gives us opportunity to sit in placement from 6 th sem,which is generally intership based.Companies like Capgemini,cognizent and TCS visit our college for picking up students.My plan after completing b.tech is clear I will start doing job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is quite affordable for a middle-class student. College provides internship opportunities through AICTE through which student gets a lot of benefits. For late fees if you don't have a genuine reason they impose a fine of 100 per day.
Campus Life
Our college gives good exposure to students like industrial visits also we have a great library which student can explore according to their own need.Sports and club are very active in our college,which I think is something everybody thrives for.We have one of the biggest fest of chhattisgarh SAMVID in our college but due to some personal reason of our chairman it was cancelled which was really disappointing.
Admission
I took the CGPET exam to get admission to SSTC Bhilai, the cut-off for my computer science branch was around 2000 rank, as we have specialization branches that also have different criteria according to the hierarchy. I think the admission process was quite smooth but could be made better as the servers were very slow which wasted our whole day. Talking about exams in college it's pretty good it's difficult to categories it in easy or difficult but it's good. Also, our student supports the students who have financial issues in their house, which I really about the college.
