Should you persue Bachelor of Pharmacy form LNCT University.

I chose Bachelor of Pharmacy in LNCT University, the course curriculum and design in LNCT University is really good. The faculty members are well educated and some of them have really great backgrounds (like NIPER Mohali, RGPV University, Barkatullah University, etc). All the faculty members are well experienced and while teaching they majorly focus on the real life applications of that particular subject. The exams in my college took place every 2 months there are a total of 3 exam sets including two sessional exams and one final exam. The average of two sessional exams is awarded as internal marks and the marks attained in final exams are awarded separately. The difficulty level is moderate.

Our college provided internship in following companies - 1. SCAN Laboratory Bhopal 2. RB Science Laboratory Bhopal 3. Modern Laboratories Indore 4. Vindhya Herbals Bhopal Well none of them provided stipend While doing internship, we learnt a lot of things from Quality Control and Assurance, to Management of Products and Production methodology.

The placements offered by LNCT University were all good they organise a placement fair where a lot of students can find the ideal work place for their preferences. We students from 7 semester are eligible to apply for placements. This year we have visited a number of companies, some of them are mentioned as follows - 1. Modern Laboratories Indore 2. Nandini Labs Indore 3. Vitamax Indore 4. Vindhya Herbals Bhopal 5. RB Science Laboratory Bhopal 6. SCAN Laboratory Bhopal 7. Hind Pharma Bhopal The average package offered was 3lpa while the highest package was about 5lpa. About 20% students got placed this year. I plan on persuing MS Pharm after graduation.

The education in LNCT University is very affordable, in my case the fees was 75000/- per year that I have to pay in tow installments (per semester). Talking about scholarships, I did not applied for any but as far as I know, there are scholarships and financial assistance available for the students that need it the most. There is a campus employment programme under which I got two job offers myself in my final year of college.

I would say my overall experience in LNCT University is very good, the campus is really good, well clean and parks are well maintained. Although I don't live in college hostel, but I live nearby so I frequently go to college to meet my friends in non working hours. My department (School of Pharmacy) holds annual Pharmacy week as full week of celebration and it is our main fest. While other common fests include, Garba Festival, LNUniverse, Srishti fest, and many more in these fests some celebrities were invited as well. The classrooms were all equipped with a smart class system as well as regulat white boards.

My admission in LNCT University was done on the basis of marks attained in 12 standard. The application form and all the details regarding admission are available at the admission cell. The staff there was very helpful. The whole process was very smooth. The application fees was only ?500 at the time I got admission. The year I got admitted, there was no entrance test, but from this year they started taking their own entrance test that goes by the title, LNCTCET. I cannot comment on the difficulty of the test since I haven't given this test. From my perspect, there are no areas of improvement in admission process and the process was really smooth and quick.
