The infrastructure is wonderful consisting of ACs and well equipped technologies in the classrooms.
The faculty is highly professional and are concerned about lectures

Dislikes

The seats in hostel are very less forcing the students to take rooms on rent nearby

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated and fits well with the market demands. The faculty members are highly devoted and professional as they are really concerned about imparting the best knowledge they possess to the students such that they can do wonders in the industry itself.

Placement Experience

The Department of management studies itself has a placement cell that consists of students and is headed by a faculty member. Every year renowned companies such as Honda, Vedantu etc. visit the campus for placements and get the students onboard.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of MBA Full Time consists of two payable instalments of 24000 and 12000 respectively. Other than tuition fees, if one opts for a hostel facility then he'll have to pay hostel fees too. Being a Central University, Jamia holds several merit scholarship as well whose eligibility varies. All in all, the affordability and return on investment of the MBA program is worth considering.

Campus Life

The college is entirely engaging as the department of management studies itself holds several clubs and societies that make the college life more enjoying and engaging. There are annual fests and the classrooms are well equipped with latest technologies as well as ACs. The sport complex is vast providing amenities of playing almost every game.

Admission

The admission procedure involved an entrance exam that consisted of 170 questions with the syllabus involving English language, Maths, logical reasoning and data interpretation and General Awareness. Once you make it through the entrance exam you will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round on campus only. After which, the final list will be released consisting of the students eligible for admission.

Interview Experience

Yes, I did face an entrance exam as well as the Group discussion and Personal Interview round. The Entrance exam comprises of 170 questions involving maths, English, reasoning and GK. Once you qualify the entrance exam then you are called for the GDPI round in the campus itself.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
