Likes
- In spite of being from North East, i was one of the favourite student for both teachers and students.
- One of the criteria to get first placement is to maintain 75+ (%) attendance. Genuinely, i was bit frustrated for that.
Dislikes
- The campus could have been more bigger. Even if they are extending the building.
- College really needs to bring up more sports events along with Marketing events.
Course Curriculum Overview
Along with theoretical knowledge we often gets projects based on developing hypothetical brands which help us to utilize the classroom knowledge to a practical market strategy. Apart from these, the college organises various co curriculum activities.
Internships Opportunities
Me personally being a fresher back than, I was happy that I got placed in an internship where I did learned a lot. Which helped me during my final placement. Teachers observes each and every students and analyse which students needs to improve in what segments.
Placement Experience
This college provides a wise placement offers for both experienced holders and freshers as well. Various FMCG, FMCD, Retails, MNC's etc come and recruit us. Before sitting for the final placement the college make sure that we are prepared and ready to tackle the job obstacles in the market.
Fees and Financial Aid
This year the course fee has raisen to an extra amount of 40k. Before the overall course was 6,08,000/- More or less comparing to other Institutes the fee is minimum. After almost one year of the course ends the college provides internship program. And after returning from internship the final placement companies arrive.
Campus Life
Overall as mentioned earlier this college not only focus on providing theoretical knowledge, they provides practical and different co curriculum activities to boost out confidence. The last fest was called USP. Luckily I was one of the finalists. Where we were supposed to launch a product or an idea which doesn't exist till date. And implement our marketing knowledge in marketing and selling the product.
Admission
Back in 2022, I appeared for Management Ability Test(MAT), Where my score was 568/700. I was actually planning to get my admission in my home town back in Assam, but a friend of mine who passed out before me from BIBS had suggested me about this college. At the same time explaining the opportunities I may gain after completing my MBA from outside Northeast. So I just checked the college website and after that I applied for my course here. Along with MBA, this college provides a post graduate diploma as well, which is known as PGPBM (Post Graduate Program in Business Management)
Interview Experience
For GD the topic which I got was 'Russia-Ukraine's war affecting Indian economy'. And for interview round the interviewer was quite good and was making sure that I, am not at all nervous and perform my interview well. And the interview went well. It's all because I read current affairs and news papers, which totally helped me in tackling with the other panel member in Group Discussion.
