After my 10+2 studies, I decided to study btech in mechanical engineering. I from kerala so I appeared KEAM examination and score 15000+ rank.Due to the new university (KTU), I decided to go nearby state to study engineering. My friends suggested me this college. They were graduated from this college..

The course curriculum is updating in every year. When compared to KTU, there is more importance to practicals&labs. In first year we have to study the basics subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer programming,... In the second semester, classes are conducted in the respective department.

Our college provide internships in every semester. The internship will be at government companies and other industries and power plants

There is a placement cell in the college. Subjects like aptitude, skill development,.. etc are included in the syllabus in every semester to train the students for placements and job interviews . There are many reputed companies coming and hires students in every year

Mechanical department has students association called " The Federal association of Mechanical Engineering (FAME) " FAME organises various activities like lectures by distinguished practitioners, competitions and MECHARNIC the annual festival of Dept. Of Mechanical engineering. Celebrations like Onam, Holi, Christmas..etc. are celebrated

The fee structure is Rs 100000 P.A. The fee structure depends upon the secondary school marks. If you have good marks then you have to pay 80000 P.A. When compared to other nearby colleges the fee structure is high, but when compared to other deemed universities the fee structure us feasible

Loan facility is available. Scholarship is offered to students. Students having specified marks can apply for scholarship.

Nice and green atmosphere. The Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education is on the rocky face of Velimalai. The exact place is Kumaracoil, a part of Western Ghat hills. Padmanabhapuram, the capital of erstwhile Travancore is only 4.9 km away. Not too far, at 4 km distance is the Thuckalay Town. Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education is only a vocal-distance from the famous Lord Velmuruga Temple at Kumaracoil. It is only 15 km from Nagercoil, the district headquarters of Kanyakumari and 1.5 km from the NH-47.

The boys hostel is located near the college compound and the girls hostel is inside the college compound. There is a seperate hostel for Marine engineering students which is inside the college compound. Facilities like gym, play ground, library are provided in the hostel. There is both nonveg & veg food available.. mess food is average.

There is alumni network in the college. They helps to conduct placements for students. Alumni get-together are organised..

There are three internal examinations conducted in every semester. The marks of the internal examinations are considered for the internal marks for the respective subjects. Practical examinations are conducted before the university semester examination.

First I contact the admission office of the college through the phone number provided in the college website. Then I visit the college with my school certificates and mark lists. After submitting the certificates, I have to attend the online entrance examination
