campus the campus is full of trees giving a good aura for the day
friendly people that are always ready to help
more or less considerate faculty that add up to a great campus life

Dislikes

no proper placement opportunities offered this can be worked upon
a lot of exams are taken and a lot assignments are given
there is a rule of 85 percentage attendance that adds up to a hectic schedule

the courses here are kinda oriented towards the industry demands the teachers are a mix of some extraordinary professionals while some just surviving by teaching whatsoever they get. the exams here are conducted timely each semester consists of 3 internal assessment exams and then an end sem exam

placements during the current scenario are hard and they offer less perks highest goes to around for 20 lakhs for 2-3 students all others placed are around 3-7 lakhs mark students placed are around 50 percent there are companies like adobe and Capgemini comming to campus

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees here for me is around 2,70,000 per year adding upto a total of around 11 lakhs for the whole course. There are several scholarship opportunities including the home state of Karnataka scholarship to which I am not eligible. Internship opportunities are rare placement in the current scenario is sort of challanging, there are events of types for minimal prizes and all.

there are 2 fest mainly one being the technical fest and the other being the cultural fest Library is well equipped with books and computers with fast internet for research purposes. sports here kinda okayish there are several groups to join to

I went through in in house Entrance exam the fees for that was 1500 after I got in I had to pay the full fees No reservations were provided but there is an availability of in state reservation which I could not benefit from as I don't belong to the home state of the college

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
