Course Curriculum Overview
In my pursuit of a B.Tech in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, I've observed that our curriculum could benefit from some updates. It seems a bit outdated, and I believe the organization should consider incorporating new subjects and information on emerging technologies. The level of difficulty in our end semester exams is moderate, striking a balance between challenging and manageable. Additionally, our college hosts various cultural events, including dance and singing competitions organized by seniors every one to two months, along with official fests like SAMVID, which is renowned as the most famous fest in central india.
Internships Opportunities
there are some paid internships available for students which are not offered from college side but from the various sources which our faculties guide the total cost of the training and internship program is around 3500 and there are some stipends based on the performance upto 20000.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus pacement and companies like TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, COGNIZANT etc visite our college and the average package of our college is 5.6 LPA highest package offered 33LPA(by amazon) and highest package bagged was 9 LPA and 63% of students are placed last year from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee around 40000 per semester and there are also some hidden charges like enrollment fee which is 5000 and is one time fee for your entire four year course and mandatory contribution for college fest which is 200 and there are some fee weaver schemes like TWS and a scholorship named POSTMATRIC SCHOLARSHIP which provide 24000 per year.
Campus Life
The anual fest of college is SAMVID and it generally held in the month of march and it the most famous fest of central india. our college has 3 to 4 libraries and one them is called central library which is quite large and contain large amount of books related to our subjects and G.K. and all the hindi english magazines. Our classroom has a decent size and large enough for seating of 60 students at a time some classrooms has projectors and we have a large Auditoriom with the sseating capacity of 500 peoples at a time. The campus of our college is quite large and contain 7 to 8 buildings a big parking ,a playground, and 5 to 6 small gardens.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are quite decent there is our breakfast between 8:30 am to 10:00am and lunch betweeen 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and then the dinner between 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The quality of food is ok ok and according to me it good according to the hostel fee(60000 per year). And if you don't want to live in hostel there many flats and PGs are nearby our college.
Admission
The admission process is straightforward. Initially, you need to take the CGPET, our college's B.Tech entrance exam. If you're from Chhattisgarh, you receive priority in admission over out-of-state students. Following this, a counseling session organized by the Directorate of Technical Education assigns branches and colleges based on your rank, with reserved quotas for ST, SC, and OBC categories. The exam occurs annually, and it's not overly challenging, with no negative marking.
