- coding culture: as compared to other universities, coding culture here is definitely a better deal
- free environment: there are no hostel timings. You can come to your room 24*7
- sports facilities: I as a badminton enthusiast definitely appreciate the infrastructure of sports complex.
Dislikes
- placements: Placements are not upto the mark.
- fest: I really expected more from annual fests.
Course Curriculum Overview
I found out that bennet university's Btech cse is good through previous reviews in yt and some friends, thats why i poted for it. The course is a full package including real world applications and mostly it depends upon the child how well he/she is trying hard to go to the depth of the subjects. The timing they give for exam is just a bit less according to their difficulty but its managable.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft , Honda ,etc give internship opportunities at an avg. 7000/- per month. An avg. student can easily get that in on campus oppurtunities.Every student get atleast one internship offfer which is a very good opportunity.
Placement Experience
Students can apply for incampus internships from 4th semester onwards. And for campus placements you need to be in 6th semester. I as fresher do not have enough information about no. of companies visited but I can tell you about the placements. Highest on campus was 52 lacs/annum by a 4th year student form btech Cse. I myself will try my best to grab high package opportunities. And yeah, avg.package/annum is about 8 lacs something.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah, i wanna consider that tuition fees is a bit more. i guess its due to the ongoing college development and constructions and also to hire highly graduated faculties. overall tuition fees of my college is nearly 3,70,000/- adding hostel fees which is 1,50,000 . And a student can also approve scholarship upto 50% based on his high school academics.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is called Uphoria and techfest is Zenevia. Uphoria just passed by and to be honest, I didn't enjoy it fully. and talking about library, its very accessible and its easy to issue books but the only con is you have to renew the book every 15 days.Classroom are beautiful and like every ideal lecture hall. I truly liked it.Sports facilities are also top notch.
Hostel Facilities
I was alloted a new hostel and they are very clean. In summers the ducting flows cold air and in winters it flows warm air. Bathrooms are clean and hostel environment is very friendly. You can also indulge in trash activities but its upon you if you have control on your guts. Hostel is very affordable like every other colleges. It costs yearly 1,80,000 for hostel for double sharing and 1,50,000 for triple sharing.
Admission
I am from Btech cse in bennet university. This course is easily eligible for all the students wanna take admission in this college. For admission process you have to reach their(college's) online portal and find the application form. Application fees is more than 1000/- if I remember . And application form is available from march onwards till july. i recommend filling the form earlier.
