It has a spacious and green environment and large playing area
Faculty is very careful regarding the students

Dislikes

Also location is problem its not near highway altough we have market but transportation causes problem

Course Curriculum Overview

I was intrested in this course from starting and it has a good reputation for this branch It improves your speaking skill and communication skill for real life Courses can be improved by more integration of teachers and students Exams are scheduled 3 times in a semester

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 57000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees including everything is 23.5k for 1 semester And there is no scope of large hike Smvdu provides scolarship for top 5 students of the batch As such i have not taken any campus employement but it does provide that facility

There are two fest titiksha tech fest and resurgence cultural fest which takes place every year Class rooms are spacious and smart classes are availabe in all classes Sports is excellent provides facilities like football basketball volleyball tennis lawn tennis There are many groups like art club sport music tech clubs

It was allotted acording to 12th class percentage You can find application form online on smvdu site and fees is nominal All the reservation benifts which you get in other colleges User interface of Website can be improved

i would rate the curriculum 7/10 the inclusion of sociology and psychology modules attracted me the curriculum provides a decent foundation for pratical work they should add more practical projects to balance theory with application semester exams are held twice a year they are moderately difficult

From the 6 th semester you are eligible for the placement. My plans after getting the degree is to do competitive exams The highest package is near about 12 lpa and average package is about 4 toh 6 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per my course I had mathematics and statistics as my major subjects. There is a lot of opportunities in this but you need proper guidence. But the curriculum needs to improve things like they need to prepare students for real world application and neede to prepare the students for the job.

About My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen the course myself but this year due to NEP we had 7 subjects which is kinda difficult for us to study .only 2 subject are main that are major and minor rest changes as per semester, so last year my multidisciplinary subject was Geography in 1st sem and then Geology in 2nd semester. There must be some changes in course. 1. Shortage must not be 75% it becomes difficult for students . 2. Teaching method must have to be improved.. Colleges have a semester of 6 months, they give information in 1 to 2 months and after some time in the semester, papers start..they should give some more time for preparation. The difficultly level of exams are not much... kinda easy paper . In minor exams the time limit is one hour and in major 2.5 hour . Sometimes time is problem too ... As I'm humanities student and we hv to write in length but sometimes due to time shortage weren't able to write much contents but overall my experience in college was good

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
