In terms of comprehensiveness, the curriculum is valid and not bad. But in terms of relevancy, it is lagging. Let us take my situation as an example, I chose Computer computer-related branch in btech and it's the same curriculum and syllabus for every student in college including Non-Computer branches for the first year. We can accept that these are necessary and basic subjects for every Engineering student. But coming to today's competitive world every btech student must learn maximum subject about their course within no time which is not possible to these unwanted subjects. So, the curriculum should be changed for respective branches to face this competitive world. Coming to exams there are Class Tests, Mids for 4 times in a Semester and a student is just studying important questions for the particular subject to clear these exams with good score and not learning the crux of t the subject. So, students should be given time to utilize their talent to work on new things.

These are three ways to join in our college.One is through APEAPCET,the other is through NRI Quota and the other is through MANAGEMENT Quota.Through APEAPCET there are two ways in which one is based on government provided scholarship and in the other one fees should be paid.Government provided scholarship are only for the low income people eligible under the guidelines of the government.They are provided with free education from the government as fees is paid by government itself to the college.There are some people who are under unreserved category and unable to get an eligible APEAPCET rank.For them the college provided an eligibility to join through their 12th board marks(For me it is BIEAP).Above 930 marks eligibility pushed into the college to get an addmission.And now finally comes the last way to join the college and it is through MANAGEMENT Quota.Here the students don't need to write and eligibility tests.Just they need to pass Intermediate board,just pay donation and join.

In our college there are many events being conducted,which are divided into technical and non-technical events.like hackathons,treasure hunts and some cultural activities hosted by respective club members.But from our college,due to exams pressure,students won't be able to participate in many of these events and also there is a high risk of getting attendence from faculty due to which students are unable to get an opportunity to participate in interested events or competitions.N.S.S events will be held in college during respective special days and credits will be awarded to all actively attending students.At the end of btech top 100 members from that respective batch would be awarded with N.S.S certificate which would boost our Resume.N.C.C is also there in our college but as I am a member of N.S.S I don't have idea about this.also there is encouragement for sports in our college where every years competitions are conducted so that interested students can participate and exhibit talent

I preferred to pursue b.tech in my home town(Vijayawada) itself and I attempted APEAPCET to get a decent rank(below 10,000) so that I could get an addmission in good college and a desired branch according to my reservation eligibilty(BC-D). But unfortunately I secured 20,000 rank which didn't made me eligible to join in desired college(VRSEC).So,as I am fixed to study in my home town itself I tried to apply addmission in VRSEC through NRI quota which need an eligibility of 930 above in APIPE.As I scored 947 these marks made me eligible to get an addmission in this college.But after getting into the college I observed that there are many people who scored APEAPCET rank less than me and got addmission through that exam itself due to reservation which might be a flexibility and empowerment for those respective categories but ruining the dreams of some unreserved students who are willing to study in their home town itself.But,as this is a hypothetical situation we can't comment on this.
