Our college infrastructure, building, faculty, transportation is good. Our college management maintains college in good manner and provides good placements for their students.
Entrance Preview
Vignan University is an institute which provides best education in friendly environment with caring faculty. It has beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The college is far from the city , yet it provides transportation. The faculty is highly qualified.Our college is NBA accredited.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken Computer Science and Engineering in my B.Tech. The course is of total 7 semesters. We have to secure maximum of 28 credits, so that we can move to next semester. We also have various labs according to our syllabus like C, data structures etc.
Internships Opportunities
Our college does not provide internship. Our college does not allow for internship as they think it will disturb their education.
Placement Experience
In 2017, 509 of our college students are selected through college placements. In which 250 students are selected for core companies, the package for the students starts from 1.5 to 6 lpa. Few companies are Infosys, cognizant,Amazon etc. Few of the companies have selected in one day and few have taken more than 1 rounds.
College Events
Our college will conduct few events and workshops. The workshops conducted for us were on Internet of Things, Python, etc. The main event of our college is TARANG which is celebrated for 2 days. Celebrities will be the guest for the event. It is the National fest. Not only our college also conducts small events like Techvnite etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fees is around 70000. For the students who have less income, government will pay around 35000 through reimbursement. Bus transport fee will start from 7000 to 23000. We can pay the fees in installations. First we should pay half of the fee and can pay the next half before the completion of the year.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you got less than 10000 in EAMCET there will be scholarship, The college will bare all the college expenses except transportation fee.
Campus Life
In my college the gender ratio depends on the department, in ECE, CSE ratio will be around 50: 50,in Mech, EEE, it will be 65:35. Coming to labs we have good faculty and resources. We have big grounds for different sports. Our college also conducts workshops on robotics etc.
Hostel Facilities
Our college also provides hostel facilities. It has very big hostel with sharing rooms from 2 to 6. The hostel will be around 1km from the college. Buses will be there for the students during lunch hours. Coming to food, in the morning, breakfast and milk is given, at lunch you will get meals and evening they give you snacks, in the night again meals, to all this you need to pay money in advance.
Alumni/Alumna
The Seniors are full supportive and friendly.There will be few alumni network and they explain to their juniors on few subjects. Some of our alumni come to the college and share their experiences.
Exam Structure
Our college conducts MID's and lab internals according to jntuh schedule. The syllabus for the exams are covered very earlier and make the students to revise the portion. MID's will be for 3 days ,two subjects each day,forenoon and afternoon respectively. For labs, first we have to write and then execute.
Admission
I got admission in this college through counselling. I wrote TS EAMCET and secured 19K rank. Attended counselling and applied for few colleges and got a seat in this college. I had chosen Computer Science and Engineering in B.Tech. According to college cutoff I got admission in this Institute.
Faculty
In our college CSE department faculty are the best and highly qualified. They have good knowledge to explain the quires asked by the students, they teach in such a way that everyone can understand and will explain if you don't understand. They also teach through Power point presentation.
