The environment here is really nice, the view is pretty
The hostel rooms are also nice , the caretakers are helpful

Food is not good , you may not get all the essentials
There is problem of transportation, buses are not always available

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is according to UGC guidelines. A practical based approach is there. The exams are conducted according to the academic calendar and from prior it is circulated among the students. The exams are according to the syllabus.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 77000. Since when I have joined the university there has not been any increase in tution fees. The complete cost of education is very affordable. Also, they provide scholarships to students according to the marks/sgpa of the semester.

Campus Life

Titiksha, resurgence, and winter fests are held annually, the library is accessible to everyone from morning 9 am to 8 pm and there is a reading section as well as an online library is there. There is a sports ground for the students. Many clubs like sports clubs, art clubs dance clubs, singing clubs, astronomy clubs, etc. are there.

Admission

I really like the environment here. This place is really pretty. The professors are really helpful. On the basis of 12th class marks admission was given. On the site everything, every information is available. Details about reservations were also provided.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

CUJ is Cute!!

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
