Its quite good but the fees z so high other than that its a good college.but they should work high on placements.
Entrance Preview
In kolkata,amity is the well infrastructured and good b school.it has a good brand name .The location is perfect and in kolkata it is the only college the falicilated dual specialisation and its a demeed university.for me there was no choice so at last moment i decided to join.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses offered are very good,but all the courses are not avaiable untill now hope as the number of students incerease with the demand they will start all the course but overall all the basic courses are open to all depending on the choice of the students.
Internships Opportunities
Yes,actually its depend on the company we doing the internship.not all the company provide stipend if so then it tend to be 4k to 6k in 2momths,or mostly in most cases it is used to be a unpaid internship holding with good organisations.
Placement Experience
Placement inrecent days even good b schools are failing to provide.but paradoxically amity had a good industry interaction cell and they work hard to give the job to the students and support the student to get good jod.its depend on marks and ur own talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its litle bit on the expensive side.but they are also providing there best as per the fee they are taking a good infrastructure, good classroom,wifi facilities and many more that is good.but literally the fees is on the higher side as far compare to other b school.for mba its 8lak approx
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. The college provides the scholarship and loan both facilities as my friend had scored around 87 on the boards and hence got 50% scholarship.Those students complete there UG from amity and went for PG from amity itself ,for them there is a discount in the fee structure.
Campus Life
Altogether the campus is very good. The classrooms, labs everything is air-conditioned. Also in the college, there is a basketball court, football court, auditorium which is huge we have different labs for every subject like for psychology there is a completely different lab.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is good but not so much flexible for the PG holders as they are very harsh with them. The hostel facilities are nice. They are made up really well and as we know Amity stands out when it's about the infrastructure. The hostel has proper lightening, AC everything. The mess food is nice. You get a variety of food every day, food is a good thing there.
Alumni/Alumna
ALUMNI Yes. There are groups on social media for the alumni also the college will have a get together where they will call all the students and the alumni
Exam Structure
Exam structure is good.it follows consecutive exams i.e without any gap its used to finish all the exam na 2 sem in 1 yr odd and even.odd used to happened during April may and even happens during November and december. And it had a strong invigilation.
Admission
I gave cmat,after that in kolkata its a new college as amity is known for mba.i had enroll myself,then amity had their own entrance exam,i cleared and i had a interview session after that i got selected.i had induction program brifely about the clg n other facilites.
Faculty
Faculty right now is good,further they also growing in to confidence and experience .they all holding good degree of their own.they has the instinct to help the students and tend to support in all possible ways and help to groom us and support to grow strong.
