Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is CBME according to the Maharashtra board of health sciences. It is pretty good in terms of application of the theoretical knowledge into practical life, such as clinical postings in the hospital which is a tertiary care hospital i.e. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sarvopachar rugnalaya, Solapur ! All the professors are very well experienced doctors in their field as well as in teaching.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is mandatory after the four years of MBBS in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sarvopachar rugnalaya Solapur. It is a very well exposed tertiary care hospital located in the solapur which is connected to the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee (including hostel) was around 131350/- in year 2022. It increases about 10-12k with every next batch. In second third and final year, it is according to the duration of the years. But approximately equal to the first year only. Complete cost of the tuition fee including hostel is the same only. You have to pay for your food extra. Scholarships can be easily found for the reserved category students. Campus employment is very good as after the course, it has internship which then provides a MBBS graduate degree.

Campus Life

4

The annual festival includes a fest called as "SPARSH" which is held on every year basis. It includes variety of days such as "tie and stall day" "secret santa" etc and also variety nights. It has a whole series of sports events as well !! All the medical books are available in the college library and journals are supposed to be purchased from the college as per requirement. The classrooms are good in terms of facilities but are a bit small because of the earlier small batches. Sports activities are very good as campus has its own ground for sports and also opportunities both intracollege and inter college are available. Students are involved in different social groups for well-being of the society.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Facilities provided in the room are- 1. A cot (single bed) 2. Fan 3. Lights Mattresses and all necessities should be purchased on our own. Meal quality is nice in the mess which is inside the campus only. Other mess are also available outside the mess is anyone wants to join them. Registration process for hostel is included in the admission process only, there is no separate admission process. Locality of the hostel is around 2-3kms from the college campus. The cricket ground, basketball ground etc all are included in this campus only. Hostel rates are very affordable as it is only 4000/-per year that too is included in the tuition fee only.

Admission

I cracked the NEET exam and then i was alloted this college i.e. Dr VMGMC Solapur by all india counselling on the basis of choice and marks ! The admission process was very easy as the brochure was provided earlier with all the details of the process. The exams are 4 in a year i.e. 2 internals, prelims and University exams.
