Likes

Here the professors and other staff are well educated and well behaved with their students.
Well Equipped Labs and along with well educated lab assistants.
Good opportunities provided like organising the cultural and sports fest.

Dislikes

Unavailability of many courses of all the streams.
Lack of transportation facilities as university is in the outskirts.
Grocery in the University is more expensive than outer market.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is according to UGC guidelines. I was fascinated because the Integrated 5 years course with exit provided by the University. The Course Curriculum provides sufficient knowledge and guidance to crack the our course respective competitive exams.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is divided in 3 parts that is Annual Fee , Tuition Fee , One time Library Fee . We also have provision to stay at campus in hostels which have their separate fee structure divided in 2 parts that is hostel fee and mess fee.

Campus Life

I have been facilitated by the all the essentials and the beauty of this Campus is unbeatable with calming nature which distinguishes this University from others.There are many clubs in the University such as Sports club , Music and Dance club, Astronomy club etc.

Admission

Admission Process was based on the marks of class 12th examination. Every detail is given on the site of University. Application form fee was ?1500. Exams are on appropriate pattern with medium difficulty level.

I choose this course because i have an interest in this course.curriculum prepare me for real world like i can get a good job with this course.for improving we need to focus on more practical work and train students not for theory but for real world application.exam was quite different but it also helps us to learn the core knowledge.Exam timings sometimes are not good because students have to come from different areas.sometimes timings are too early or sometimes to late

the course starts from basic mechanics and goes all the way to astrophysics it basically sets your base for doing wonders in all branches of physics be it astro physics quantum physics or classical physics. the areas which i want my college to improve is in the digitization of course and integration of technology in the teaching method

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

CUJ is Cute!!

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
