A good college, with very less exposure and non-interesting college life.

You will never get a feel good college here. However, if you know how to make friends and study on your own, the place is not that bad, considering the amount of time per day you get after the college hours. Lastly, the exposure to biotechnology is not that great anywhere in Rajasthan, but I am sure you can search for a better option than this in Jaipur.

Biotech was an emerging field at that time, and the college was nearby my residence. I got very late in my admission process, due to some confusions, I was not able to decide, which course to pick up. For the people who want to contribute in something new and emerging field can opt for this course.

The course is good, however, the lack of expert faculties in the specific fields makes a great deal for the overall score of the student. You can have a look around the lab facilities, which are not so great, however, they are average, considering the rate of growth of Biotech in Rajasthan.

Yes, the college provides internships, based on the research domain. But the timings of the college are same as a school, hence, the student will have to really compromise on his/her experiments.

Placement and job opportunities should not be expected at all from this college. They can just help you in getting a B.Sc (Biotechnology) degree, the rest depends on the student only. Though, it is interesting to know that, since it is an emerging field, you can yourself apply to a lot of places for M.Sc or in various eatable manufacturing companies for jobs.

There are hardly any celebrations and events, if the students are really willing to conduct something they will only have to arrange the money, that too, only if you get the permission. I myself didn't get any fresher's party and not even the farewell party. Just managed to conduct a fresher's for our junior batch and farewell for our seniors.

Please check it now by yourself, the college provides help and scholarships to needy students and students from poor background, or students with good grades.

Campus is very small part of the Tagore International School, Jaipur. However, you can gel in with the school students and the other students of the college, enrolled in different courses. The gender ratio will be 9:1 (boys:girls) per 10 students in the college and the population is not great. They might conduct a sports day once in every 3 years. Labs are fine for a biotech undergraduate.

There is no hostel facility provided by the college, however, they can try to accommodate you in the Tagore International School's hostel, as they both "share the same building". I have not stayed in the hostel, so i am not sure, if they even provide any mess facility.

Not actually, the students find it difficult for themselves to get a good job, and as far as I know, they do not have any alumini meet or anything.

Its on yearly basis, there will be no pre-university exams (neither theory, nor practical examinations). The practical examinations will be held first then the theory examinations, both of which are conducted by the University of Rajasthan only. The practicals will be decided by the college faculty itself, but the theory examination will be conducted at different centers.

They provide direct admissions on the basis of 12th board percentage. Some small formalities, and you will get admission, you just have to submit the admission and the course fees, which is around 35,000/- per year. Just your 12th marksheet, 3 passport size photographs, and some other documents are actually necessary, initially.

Some faculties are good, some are not so good, same as in every Indian college. They can teach you major topics of your course in a summary, which can make you pass the examination, but the small details which are very necessary will be mostly skipped. However, the faculties are really supporting regarding the queries, notes and examinations. Therefore, everything comes down to the individual effort only.
