EXPLORING EXCELLENCE: A REVIEW OF BENNETT UNIVERSITY

I mostly wanted to choose B.Tech CSE and by luck I've got the same course and this course is very good in Bennett university.I've choosen this couse because I've always wanted to become a great coder and bennett university is the perfect place for it.In our university it gives students various opportunities to know their real talent and creates multiple events like hackathon,hackaccino etc. It makes students involve into it in deep and find their real talent. Although nothing is really perfect and bennett university also have its flaws. Our teaching schedule is a bit stressful,we have nearly 26 classes a week which is somewhat more and makes us feel pressure but howsoever in bennett university you will really get to know your talent. And there will be overall 4 exams excluding practicle exams and lab examinations. 4 exams are 2 Mid semester and 2 End Semester examinations which are overall divided into 2 Semesters that have one mid sem and one end sem.

The placement scenario in B.Tech in our university is as follows: There are 480+ organizations taking place in our university for placements with a average of 11.1 LPA and with a highest package of 1.2 Cr PA which is off campus placement and 55 LPA is the highest on campus placement and a the average of top 10 percentile students is somewhere around 26.2 LPA. Key recruiters for bennett university are ADOBE, Amazon web services, CADENCE, CISCO, COCA-COTA etc. And the placemnts for MBA and BA are also pretty much good. Coming to the internships bennett university have 91 participating organizations and more than 6 students got placed with 40000 stipend per month and 80000 is the highest stipend offered by microsoft.

Placements in our college are pretty good for a tier 3 college. It contains a average placement of 11.1 LPA for B.Tech student and others have their specific placements and a student will be able to go for campus placement from their 7th or 8th semester but mostly after 7th semester.Many big companies hace come to bennett university like CICSO, Amazon, Zomato, Google etc.The highest package of our university is 1.2 Cr PA that if off campus but coming to on campus placement it is somewhere around 55-60 LPA.Most of the students in our university gets placed with a great jobs. My plans after getting a degree is to continue with the job I've got in university if its a good one or else I'm going to give GATE and get into a nice IIT.

Our college fee structure is somewhat high. Overall fees for all the 4 years would ve somewhere around 2400000. And the detailed fee policy is 425000 per year and hostel fee is somewhere around 1,60,000 for triple sharing and 1,80,000 double sharing and tution fee may increase per year that can't be decided. It gives a good amount of scholarships for students and the scholarships are based on the marks you've acheived in mains and boards and scholarship is given to students by their grades. For example I've scored 96% in my PCM boards and I got 50% percent scholarship and even some of my friends got 50% scholarship for 91% in mains and there will bw scholarships even for NCC guys and also a 5% percent scholar ship for sports if you are good at any sport and if you've got the certificates for it you'll have 5%-25% scholarship for it.As of now I havent got any stipends or job roles but I'm looking forward to it.

Our college will have many fests each and every year, there will be tech fest,law fest and cultural fest.Few of the tests are Bluemoon which is a fun cultural fest which is kind off a freshers party which contains of DJ night and many other cultural activities, and also uphoria which is the biggest fest of our university it is done in 3 days and 2 special cheif guests and and a DJ night,prom night and many other cultural activities like dancing,singing,rap and manyb more. Coming to the library it is most beautiful place in the entire university and it contains many books which covers every subject and it is the best place to study. We also have seperate block for sports called as SAC(Student activity centre) which contain each and every sport and there will be tournaments conducted every year where other college students also come and participate it is called as sportikon. There are many social clubs in our college which are controlled by students itself.

Hostel life in bennett university is beautiful. In each hostel room and student will be provided with a bed, a wardrobe and a study table and it has a great accommodation. Mess food is not bod even though it has its tiny flaws it is super good. Breakfast will be a south indian break fast with bread and tea/coffee as well and lunch and dinner will be sometimes north,south and sometimes even chinese. Evening snacks are always great. Registration process for hostel will be done at the time of admission and will be given a option of choosing either double or triple sharing. I've always lived in the hostel and didn't needed to stay outside.

My overall admission process was good. For a student to get admission in bennett university he/she must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics as compulsary subject with atleast 65% marks in aggregate from any recognized board. Unfortunately there are no reservations in our college. In our college exams are pretty much moderate we will have 2 sems where each sem consists of one mid sem and one end sem.And there is no admission exam for our college, students are taken on the basis of their marks in mains and boards. As per the negatives in the admission process I've got a triple sharing even though I'ce opted for a double that somewhat irrated me,other than that each and everything is good.And there is no specific cutoff for our admission process.
