Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good in comparison to other colleges and it is in line with the upcoming industry demands. The curriculum has theory as well as practical knowledge which allows you to be industry ready. The improvements in the curriculum is not needed much but there can be improvements in the teaching methods like the way of teaching.
Internships Opportunities
The internships offered are good in number. Most of the people get summer internships after their third year which gets converted to PPOs generally. The students of second year also gets an opportunity to do summer internships. There are also credits for internships and projects in the curriculum.
Placement Experience
The college placement number is pretty good. The average and median salary is good compared to other private colleges and the placed students ratio is also good. The highest, average and median package varies from year to year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is on a little higher side I would say but it is fine if the college can provide good internships and packages. The total fees for 4 years would be around 24.5 lakhs. There is a 10% increase in the fees of the college every year. There are different scholarships provided by the college for meritorious students and also for those who have some income problems. There are different clubs in which I have taken part.
Campus Life
The overall campus experience is good. There are a variety of things to do in the college. There are technical, cultural and sports clubs and there are a wide range of events which are conducted by these clubs throughout the year. There are also 3 fests: Technical, Cultural and Sports fest which are held from January to February and it becomes a very good enjoyable month.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is also good. We have badminton court and table tennis table inside the hostel and there is also a common room where there is TV and you can chill. The girls hostel also has a gym inside. The hostel is mandatory for first year and registration is done on the first day after reporting to the campus. The meal quality is okayish.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth to be honest. The admission was based on JEE Mains percentage. There were different cutoffs for the branches and there was no reservation. The application form and all related details were available on the website of the college. The examination criteria is divided into multiple categories like quizes, labs and mid term and end term exams and they are conducted frequently. The difficulty of the exams is moderate.
