Course Curriculum Overview
Since it is a government medical college, exposure to patients is more than other private colleges. We get to see patients in person from the hospitals which makes us more interested and experienced.Weekly short exams conducted in different subjects helps to be more prepared for the final University exams of that year.But the college and hospitals infrastructure and facilities has to be improved more
Internships Opportunities
The internship of the course can be done in the medical college hospital itself . There's separate hostel facility for the interns.Interns get a monthly stipend around 28k.Interns get more experience as there is patient crowd in the hospital
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees is 22080.Along with that fund has to be given to the colleges library,sports,pta committee which all together costs around 35k at the time of admission. Students opting for hostel will have additional hostel fees also which is 13800 at the beginning and 10800 in the following years.Mess fees costs an average of 2500 per month.Scholarship schemes are there based on the income like egrants from the Kerala government
Campus Life
There are many clubs in the college from various fields like arts, sports, Dance, music etc.There will be cultural fests also like Christmas onam eid.The library is very vast and almost all the books are available there.Almost every students are part of one or more clubs which makes them more socially active and responsible
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is having a very infrastructure compared to other colleges.There are cots,study table,shelves for each student.For taking hostel admission,a caution deposit is required in the beginning and afterwards the annual fees of 10800.Mess is there in the hostel itself providing good quality food, both veg and non veg are available
Admission
The eligibility was qualifying neet examination with 600 above marks out of 720.after that there will be 2 or 3 counsellings both all India and statewise through which we can give options of colleges. When the allotment comes,we login to our profile and look for the college we have been alloted.With required papers and documents,we go to the college and take admission.The required documents will be informed by the college union.The college union also tells about the fees structures and other facilities.Those students having a reservation will be having reduction in fees
