
Remarks
On a whole, the college management was very good. I can confidently say that this is the best part of my life I have spent. Learnt a lot of things on my own and definitely helped me in learning a new language Hindi.
Entrance Preview
I have given GATE-2006. I have acquired All India 39 Rank in Physics. I have choosen IIT delhi because, I have interest in the course Opto electronics & optical Communication and it is available only there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very high standard. They have collaboration efforts with industries located in Bangalore. They have interdisciplinary courses like, Digital communications, Opto electronic Instrumentation, wireless communication, computer networks which are latest industry trends.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college do provide internship. Though, it is quite difficult in our course, but there are companies like sterlite, Tejas Networks do accept interns from our course. They were providing 8000 Rs per month during that time.
Placement Experience
Usually, placements begin during starting of December. There are lots of companies that come for placements. Highly paid companies like Citi Bank, Barclays, Google, Microsoft, Amazon are in the list. They will be coming at the beginning to filter out the cream layer. There are companies like ICICI, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, which come at the end to recurit students in bulk. There are core comapnies like Tejas Networks, Sterlite, TATA Motors, etc to get the core students. Durning our year 2008-2009, the highest paid was 15 lacs.
College Events
There are various events that happen in our college. In terms of technical events, there will be inter college events where we compete with other national level colleges to showcase our expertise and it is funded by each department based on our project. Also, cultural events like Rendezvous wass a big event, where lots of celebrities are invited to have a nice cultural events to compete and celebrate during the complete week.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In my personal opinion ,the fee structure then was very feasible. In my post graduation, I used to get a stipend of 8K per month. This was more than sufficient for my term fee and also my hostel fee. We used to pay 15-20k per semester for tuition fee and around 35k per year for hostel.There are no other fees involved like the laboratory fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any loans that were availed by my friends. But, for science students there used to be UGC grant CSIR scholarship were it used to be around 12k per month stipend.
Campus Life
Campus life is excellent. Gender ratio must have been something like % boys ratio to girls. But, there was lot of diversity. There were people from various parts of india. Also, due to the exchange program, we used to have foreign students in our campus. We used to have sports competition, various cultural clubs, robotics display events etc which is all a great to be involved.
Hostel Facilities
Most of the students were residing in hostels. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. There are enough number of hostels to accommodate students there.Freshers were given double rooms, where there were 2 per room. While seniors were given individu

We have a good alumni network. We even organize get together to meet up our old friends and lecturers. These are even helpful to exchange our current positions.
Exam Structure
The exams were different. Each instructor has his own way of conducting exams, at least for the mid semester. There were even open book exams being conducted. Then there will be end semester exams. Mid and end semester has a percentage value and grading i

Most of the faculty are Phd and have done their Post docs in abroad. Some of them have authored few technical books which we were using that time as reference. One of them is V K Jain . Everyone takes their commitments very seriously, wherein 75% attendan
