Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choosed this curriculum so that I can study all about our body it's like a magical and I can treat patients. This proffesion is giving so much respect from society it's an encouraging factor of the course. Our curriculum changed to CBME from 2019 batch onwards they are giving competency based medicine so that students can improve they skills rather than magging up things. We are studying all over body part using original human body so that we can palpate ( over term) and feel the things and improve photographic memory for it. Here in my medical college they are doing so much exams even in weeks so that we can cover atleast some topic all the week otherwise we won't.

Internships Opportunities

5

For all mbbs student there is period called house surgeon period were they are getting internship in the college itself during that period we are exposed to see all the type of disea that we r only heared an seen on our text books. Just like junior doctor we wi go with our senior doctors and we are learning clinical skills for skilled or experienced one's

Fees and Financial Aid

For government college we have tuition fees 22000? /yr other bills like hostel rent almost 12000?/yr mess fees 4000?/month union fee 5000? pta fee 12000? and every year so much records and all also taking money. I am a middle class family student for me even this much money of government medical college is little bit difficult but compare to private it's oke. For us there is two type scholarship knowingly mcm and egrance. Income less that 2 lakh/month for my parents it's almost 180000/year constantly additional sometimes. This scholarship we didn't got till now we are second year now no other employment and all in campus but some people's doing mess secretary they are getting 500?/ month.

Campus Life

3.5

Our medical college infrastructure is not that much developed since it's from 2013.But we have enough lecture Hall but summer the hot is so heavy. And other programmea and all less as comparison to other college our college mainly famous on academics. We have one library for over academical books it is like more than enough for books and atmosphere for studying is also good except the hotness. Non academical library is there but it's not that much developed. Programmes and all conducted by union almost all main programmes of india under over our limit they are conducting in a good way

Admission

I wrote NEET UG 2022 . This is the exam conduct for those who need medical seats in India. I got 620 out of 720 and my Kerala rank was 928 . In Kerala there are almost 1500 seats for mbbs in general category almost 800 rank in Kerala got admission in government medical college. For Kerala students they have keam site based on keam Or Kerala rank they will get college for medical courses they can give option in allotment based on their interest from the beginning of allotment giving itself because keam site option editing is not possible based on our rank we will get courses and colleges. Based on all india rank we can apply medical college all over india but it's allotment is quiet different we can edit option in each level of allotment and all india allotment done through nta. nic site and they are taking 5000? payment for obc student and general 10000? which will return if we took admission through all india rank.I have one suggestion that keam site can provide editing of option.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
