Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our curriculum is very good in many aspects. It provides us practical sessions along with theoretical knowledge which is very relevant in MBBS. These clinical and practice sessions make us more perfect and capable of what we are supposed to do in future. But the theory classes are a bit boring since the teaching method is mainly based on PPT. I recommend the faculties to improvise their teaching methods

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We do internships inside our hospital itself. Since we lack post graduate seats we have more involvement during internships which makes us better doctors. There are facilities and patients required enough for completing our internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fee is 25000 rupees per year. We also have to pay for other facilities like library research centre etc. at the time of admission. Since it's a medical College this is very much affordable. Also we are getting many scholarships based on our reservations. We have to pay 10000 rupees for hostel per year and 3000 per month for food. For those who can't afford these there are institutions providing scholarships on the basis of their reservations

Campus Life

3

When it comes to extracurricular activities our college is not that good in conducting vibrant programs. There is a lack of work life balance. Eventhough students try their best to conduct programs within the limits. Our college infrastructure is not that good enough to let us conduct mega events. Also we lack enough sports facilities. We run many clubs for fostering habits and other interests of students. We host many programs under these clubs

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We have the best hostal facilities in Kerala. We have three member or two member rooms with bathrooms attached . They provide us gym facilities a clean mess reading room etc. in our hostel . We have elevators and Wifi along with adequate amount of cleaning staffs. Altogether we're having very good hostel facilities. They also provide washing machines and stores in hostel. We only have to pay 10000 per year for this. And there are scholarships for those who can't afford

Admission

I scored 625 marks in NEET examination which was the eligibility criteria for getting a seat in government medical College. Then I opted for manjeri medical College since it is convenient for me.The allotment process was through KEAM window . KEAM is the site of government of Kerala that provides application forms and all other aids for attaining entrance examination. I've only appeared for NEET exam which was held in July 2022 which is exclusively based on our 12th biology physics and chemistry. It was an MCQ test with moderate level of difficulty. T

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
