- The leopards that sometimes to the residential part of the campus are also a concern .there has been many sightings in the campus hostel areas but thankfully no one has been injured by a leopard neither has anyone died in the campus due to a leopard

Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Bachelor of technology in Chemical Engineering at IIT Indore . it is a new branch here . I am in the first batch of this branch who will graduate in 2027 . Chemical Engineering is a branch which has the widest range of industrial applications . Be it warfare or medical or engineering or cosmetic ,everywhere chemicals are significantly used. So due to its wide range of industrial applications I chose this branch. Also the industrial exposure that the college has included in the four year course is very enriching . We shall get to learn many new and bright ideas and approaches to improve the life of living as well the advancements in technology . But there are too less professors who focus on actual practical approaches so that is an aspect that requires advancement in our college. Also we have 2 main exams in a semester – an end semester exam that is held before the end of the semester and a mid semester exam that is held in the middle of the semester. The exams are neith
Fees and Financial Aid
So basically the fee structure is a total of Rs 275000 per year including the two semesters in a year so the total for each year is Rs. 137500. This 137500 rupees includes the tution fees around 65000 rupees, the mess fees that is aroung 3 to 4 thousand per month and hostel fees around 15 or 16 thousand per month. Also there are other payments included in the above total but these are the primary ones. As I don’t come from an economically backward section I don’t need to avail to any financial aids. But there are various aids like scholarships and forms to fill so that the economically weaker sections can also study in colleges. It is applicable in IITs also. I being a first year in the college till now have not taken any campus employment as this is the time we should focus on making our career by studying and getting good grades and exploring new ideas and approaches. But I am a member of the programming club , the consulting and finance analytics club as well as the basketball club
Campus Life
I being a first year in the college till now have not taken any campus employment as this is the time we should focus on making our career by studying and getting good grades and exploring new ideas and approaches. But I am a member of the programming club , the consulting and finance analytics club as well as the basketball club. There is no stipend in these clubs . it is for recreational purpose and improving our confidence and aptitude. The basketball club is for building my athletic body and improving my reaction timing and most importantly keep my health and fitness proper. The other two clubs are for building my career in trading and improve my logical thinking abilities. Also there are many other clubs like the cynaptics , sports clubs of various domains like badminton, aquatics etc. , video editing club, drama club etc. Various social clubs like the avana , prakriti club are there to help the animals in our college lead a better life and protect the nature around us . Admission
First we had to give JEE Mains in 2023 for which the cut-off was around 80s in the general category as far as i remember. For the reserved categories it was significantly lower. There were 2 attempts in 2023 as it has been conducted since the past few years in the two time taking format. Then there was the second attempt(12thApril 2023) in which I had scored better than my first attempt(31st January 2023) . So my actual percentile was 99.3 and then we had to prepare for the main exam to get into IITs which is JEE Advanced(4th June, 2023). In that my rank was in the 14ks and the we had to opt for JOSAA counselling in which we had to choose our options , in which college we wanted to go and what course or rather branch we wanted to study in the next four years .After a few days our seats were locked after 6 rounds and I was allotted a seat in IIT Indore in the branch of Chemical Engineering. It is a branch which has been opened in 2023 so I am in the first batch of Bachelor of Technology
