Should you join IIITDM JABALPUR

The curriculum here is like every other college of nits and iits but you will have an advantage of one thing here there are not many branches so the common subject in the first year are very less like in some other colleges there are chemical branches so they need to study chemistry metallurgy subjects in 1st year which have new use in their future so which gives you a lot of time in first year to run some other things like I personal line c++ Java c and python and it gives a lot of time to do CP which is known as compitative programming and I have done even a little bit of web dev and the classes here are like 5hrs a day in a semester there are 2 quizes one mid sim and one endsem in each quiz scores like 10% of the marks and midsem scores like 30% of the marks and endsem svores like 40% of the marks and remaining marks are lab exams and other external things some of the faculty is pretty good and some of the faculty are like typical engineering colleges faculty.

There are many internship opportunities available in our college the person who does hard work I want to get internship in some of the other there is one of her senior who got 90000 per month internship and the college gives you grades if you get an internship without even studying

Generally student from 3rd year that is like between 6th and 7th semester are getting placed in this college and placement process will go on until fourth year until last semester that is 8th semester according to me the average package of this college is like 18 lakhs and for CSE branch it is like 21 lakhs the highest package is 1.2 crore and almost 91% of the students get place if we avoid mechanical branches because in mechanical branches there are very less student placed because a lot of student obta for higher studies don't worry the placement process of mechanical branch is still going I think a lot of them will get placed

The college is very cheap I know a lot of my friends who can't afford this much fees got some other scholarship there is no need to worry for fees in this college if you are a real struggging person to pay the fees you will get some other scholarship the ST and sc people have a special scholarship after applying scholarship in the St SC category people only need to pay hostel and Mess which is like 25000 per semester

There are many three fest in this college firstly Tarang which is the cultural fest last year it didn't go has planned but it was pretty fun and the second first is known as gusto it is a fest in which the other iiits are going to come to our college and we will have a competition and the last fest is abhikalpan which is a techfest in this place stuff like rocket launchers and some other stuffs

The hostel rooms of triple IIIT DM Jabalpur are pretty decent each room accommodate three people each people have one table one chair one bed and one cupboard the space is white big it can accommodate up to five people generally only three people per room and there will be at least 12 to 18 people have one bathroom which contains two area to bath and 3 area to do some other shit things when we come to the mess it's pretty decent I say is not the best recently our mess also got non veg and we also have a veg. non veg and veg mess are separate. In vegness they serve paneer 3 times in a week and in non veg mess there's a chicken 3 times a week and boiled egg 3 times a week in the morning and chicken in the night and commonly they have rice and Roties every time accepting the breakfast

First of all to get into this college you need to give JEE mains exam I personally got and 98.2% in my first attend which give me oral rank of 21000 and OBC rank of 5000 the cut off went up to 6000 in OBC for cse branch if you are also person who got rank around me it is the best college to choose which has a good placements good sports facilities and decent infrastructure I am from Telangana and I was getting NIT Warangal mechanical but I choose CSE because when you come to the b.tech you cannot focus on two different things like core and coding so I after for this and got into CSE if you are getting triple Gwalior IT or cse you prepare that you are thinking to go into anything with lower branches it may not be a good choice you might get a good college but you may not get a good placement after 4 years and here the classrooms are even better than some of the nits and it and some sports clubs there are more clubs in our college then some nits
