Likes

Attendence and courses is not a issue as profesor is supportive.
Campus is huge and with flura and fauna.
Good coding culture and supportive programing club.

Dislikes

Most of campus area is not utilized for construction
It is almost 14 KM away from the main city.
Summers are very harsh but you will be their only for april.

Your courses are diversified as in the field of CSE,they provides courses like mechanics, electionics but your the an escape from courses like chemistry and also professor are supportive and provide notes and questions bank. You will know about your Branch from 3rd year onward.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunity is good and lots of companies like meesho,de shaw, amazon,orcal visits regularly and lot of off campus offer is also grabed by our seniors. So,if have work little hard so you can grabe a good placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for 1 sem including hostel is 125000 around . Scholarship is provided to sc , st ,.For gen, was,obc there is merit cum mean scholarship which is provided to top 10 percentage of students,there tution fee is remmited.In first year this scholarship is provided on your jee main,after that it will be on the basis of your spi.Also scholarship is available on NSP like PM Yashasvi and more.

Campus Life

The exposer is littel less compare to other collage but there is lots of clubs which is active and hosts events on regular basis.The sports clubs is best in term of exposure but it is the most hectic club in our college. Infra is new as it is established in 2005 and there are lots of infra devlopment required now but it is sufficient to meet our needs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is spacious and each room has 3 student but rooms are quite big and it has been designed with 3 corners for each student and each hostel is their own which operate till 11:30pm and it also have tabel tennis and a batmition court.

Hostel Fee: INR 11000 per year

Admission

The admission process is smooth and is conducted through JoSAA councelling . This institute accepts students qualifying cutoff JEE Rank via JoSAA councelling. JoSAA councelling has 6 rounds and the difference between the rounds is not much high. Must go for CSAB round if you don't get the college as it is difference maker.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
