Remarks
Don't get admission in this college..save your time and money...The college is always under construction.. basically it's not a college..they have used an old cloth mill.. everywhere is dust on benches.. nobody ever cleans them.. college won't give you anything except fine..yes they impose fine from Rupee 1700 to 80000 on people on various acts..
Entrance Preview
It was supposed to be good at the chemical branch which it is not. But it was close to my home. Plus I got to know the harsh reality later about lack of required books, bad faculty, the biased system of the college. Those who will live in a hostel will be distributed more GP marks than those who reside outside.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was of 4 yrs but the college didn't provide the right books. We used to cover the syllabus on ourselves using the internet. The faculty was so pathetic that they didn't even know correct spellings. We just had to attend the lectures for attendance to avoid the heavy fine college used to impose. In every other college, 60% attendance is the criteria..but here in k.n. Modi, they'll suck your blood by fining you in case of attendance less than 75%.
Internships Opportunities
No..it doesn't provide any kind of internship or stipend..They don't provide any help for even your summer training..
Placement Experience
Placements are good for only it and cs branch. The college gets a lot of students placed in software companies..but if you are from electrical, mechanical, chemical or civil then don't expect any placement. Placement record is pathetic. The college just boasts using the names of few students like Piku Sethi but FYI he wasn't placed by the college. The college is just like a predator..if you do something good on your own, they'll brag about you as if sessional in campus.
College Events
Every year the college fest is organized there. In college fest, they have different events like face painting, hand painting, wall painting, dance and singing competition. The fest will be for 3 to 4 days..On the last day, guests will be invited like euphoria band or Kumar Vishwas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive when we compare to other colleges of the same state...Bad old rooms of cloth mill sessional as the classes..No extra-curricular activities..No facility in college..no clean environment..dirty toilets and dusty benches ..these are the salient features of this college.If you wanna get them by paying higher fees, then do get admission here.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was having an education loan from state bank of India. And about the scholarship, I'll say they give a scholarship to only those students who are from OBC and sc, St category.I was a general candidate and economically backward student but they didn't give any scholarship in 4 yrs whereas sc St students even being from wealthy background used to get.
Campus Life
Extracurricular life is almost nill...Girls are very less in B tech except for cs, it, EC .. campus life is zero...They don't allow girls and boys to sit together. The parks in the college are just for watching..you can't sit in them..guards will reprimand you in that case.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is such that you will have fungus in every room. The rooms are so small and suffocating. You'll boil in summer. The mess's food is below average..you'll learn the menu for each day of a week..you'll be bored and the food is not very appetizing.
Alumni/Alumna
No senior students are helpful or connected on a formal level but if you have a good personal relationship with some senior then maybe he 'll help you in case he gets placed anyhow anywhere.
Exam Structure
Every semester there used to be three sessionals and one-semester exam in 6 months..exam structure was common in all the colleges in Uttar Pradesh..like every college, assignment used to there. Every sessional they used to check the attendance and just used to allow the students to appear in sessionals after paying the fine.
Admission
I got selected through upsee...I got 20000 general rank and I got the college through that..Then I went to the college for fee enquiry ..Then in few days I got the amount from my bank and came to college to submit it..the college follows old rules ..they don't understand things like NEFT etc..they 'll irritate you to the end..
Faculty
Faculties are not at all good.. earlier they used to hire btech passed out only. Most of them didn't even clear the back they had in those subjects.. Basically, the college's Faculty themselves used to be there for the time they don't get a proper job.
