Remarks

In 2000-2004 faculty was not that great, i could rate 7/10. No campus placements. Facilities are good especially an excellent library. There were student groups for a specific caste and there was discrimination between students based on caste. All labs an

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET test I got 28,000 rank in Engineering EAMCET entrance test. I chose this college as it is in my home town and was existing from long time and popular in the area. Heard that faculty is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was extensive. We are affiliated to Andhra University and syllabus was huge and very difficult to complete in few semesters. For every subject there was a good faculty sure but not many good professors on that stream. Some senior faculty is too good and they used to emphasize on explaining the concepts but there are many junior faculty in that stream who just completed Mtech and were recruited as lecturers. They were not good in delivering the concepts. Course structure is good for whoever want to dig deep and understand and research on a specific topic. But course syllabus was very deep and time was not enough to complete in each semester.

Internships Opportunities

Some students used to apply for internship in public and private sector companies like BHEL and Vizag steel plant. But opportunities are very less. I haven't applied for any internship and don't have an idea on stipend and experience.

Placement Experience

2

In 2004 there was not even one campus placement. Campus recruitment team was forming by few lecturers just at that time. But now i heard that campus placements are good but not sure of the company names

College Events

2

Fresher's day was the first function which was celebrated very well. Only our college students participate in that. In 200-2004 no technical festivals were organized in our college but we used to participate in all cultural and technical festivals for all Andhra university affiliated colleges. Andhra university youth festivals used to come every year organized by any one of the affiliated colleges like us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very much feasible in 2000-2004 time frame.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know any scholarship facility offered by our college and didn't avail any of them

Campus Life

4

In 2000-2004, Men:women ration was 2:1. There was intolerance in students about discrimination of students by caste. There were parties based on caste. Lab felicities are very good. Extracurricular and sports competitions were held once annually but participation is not much.

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't stay in hostel but i heard from friends that hostel is good. Mess food is also fine. They could rate it 6/10.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a alumni group and we get mails often on campus updates facilities and get togethers. Yes they are helpful to know how college is progressing now and how many campus placements are happening currently.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
