As my Jee main score was not enough for admission in NITs, I hoped to get admission in suits Indore. My second choice was MITS Gwalior because these are the best government autonomous institute in Madhya Pradesh. Also, high Jee Score is required to get the desired branch in these institutes as compared to other government institutes of Madhya Pradesh. By chance I got MITS. It is a well-recognised institute and it ranked 26 in AICTE ranking.

Our syllabus in each semester is decided by our own institute as it is an autonomous institute. A single book is not enough for a single subject. We have to search average 2-3 books to match the syllabus. Sometimes we have to study through google. Its cumbersome.

Yes, our college provides an internship. Many students from different institute prefer our college to receive make internship.

The average placement from mits is very good. Approx 15 to 20 companies visit our institute. I am in 7th sem and till now 6 companies visited our institute. Some major companies are Infosys, Accenture, IBM, LTI, Capgemini and one civil company. Infosys took 70 Accenture 123 IBM 38 LTI 15 and Capgemini 28.

Several events are celebrated in our institute. The founder's day, Independence day, Republic day is celebrated. Many competitive and funny events are organised each semester by the second and third-year students. Also, certifications are provided for participation.

The fee structure is declared at the time of admission. Which is followed for the next four years. The fee structure is feasible. However, it is increasing every year. There is a different fee structure for different branches. The fee is submitted at the start of each semester.

Many extra curriculum activities are organised by the second and third year students such as robotics, Matlab, PCB designing etc. Lab equipment is not so good. Sports competition such as cricket, basketball are also organised by the institute. The gender ratio is good in CS and EC as compared to other branches.

However, I am not a hosteler but according to my friends which are from the hostel the hostel facilities are good. But hostel food is not so good. However, you will never ever satisfied with the food when you leave your home. You can also take the room on rent in the nearby area.

The odd semester exams are conducted from November last week or December first week. The even semester exams are conducted from May first week. The exams were easy in the First year but level increases from the second year. Exam papers are designed by the institute faculty.

Admission is totally based on Jee main score. Also it is mandatory to appear in Jee main in order to take admission in any engineering institute. After Jee main in your choice filling fill your desired institute's name at top. Admission is also available through lateral entry for diploma students.

It is quite easy to reach the faculty. If we have any doubt relating to our subject we can simply ask them in the class or after the class they can help in the respective department. Some teachers are eager to help students if you ask curiously. But some not.
