Course Curriculum Overview

2

From out batch onwards, the curriculum followed is CBME, which is competency based medical education. This will help in covering the huge syllabus within a limited time. Exams are challenging as they had to be completed in 3 hrs . However with practise it can be made easy to approach kuhs exams. From 2023 onwards, mcq s are included for 20 marks, which saved a lot of time

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 23,150 , pta fund of 20,000 , student union fund of 10,000 were compulsory. Scholarships offered include 1. Vijayalakshmi R.L. Jalappa Scholarship By Smt. Vijayalakshmi R.L. Jalappa Education Foundation 2.Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST Senior) During the period of house surgeoncy, a stipend of 30 k will be given

Campus Life

2.5

I assure one that you won't regret joining here. Minimum of two three programmes will be held in a month here, whatever it be interbatch talentia, interzonals , north zone probably in September, football tournaments, cricket matches , volleyball tournament etc.. The fund we paid to union will be used to conduct these programmes and sometimes additional charges should be paid

Admission

Admission process was smooth as well as fast in my college,. I still remember the day of Admission with a smile, the staffs here collected all my details and entered them without a lag. Application form will be provided from office on the date of admisssion. Cut off marks for obc category was 625 in the 3 rd allotment. I would like to extend the procedure of admisssion for a minimum of 3 days. I faced difficulty in reaching the location within limited time

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
