Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate the curriculum 6 out of 10.The curriculum will not prepare you for real world applications.It will only give a basic idea of subjects.End term examination level is moderate,you can easily pass with the help of previous year question papers.

Placement Experience

From sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements.Companies like Juspay,Nammayatri, Watch guard,sophos etc visit the campus.About 400-500 students are placed in companies every year from campuse.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is divided into two parts tuition fees plus college development fees.It is around 50000 for odd semester and 47000 for even semester.Many scholarship are there like pragatifor girls andfor SC/ST students.

Campus Life

Pravah is annual festival which held in March or April.It is a three day event including celebrity night,DJ night etc.There are many books available in library, A student can get max three books with his library card.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite good.There are four hostels of college including one AC hostel.But the mess food quality is not so good. Hygiene and management is not there in mess.The menu of mess is usually same across the year.

Admission

Admission done by REAP counselling on the basis of Jee-mains and the cutoff for general category was 82 percentile.Tuition Fee Waiver is given to top 5 percent students of every branch.The admission process is quite good,you are guided by staff at the time of reporting.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I only applied for this college as I researched well and SKIT was really good for me as it excels both in studies and sports and thats what I wanted too. About SKIT Jaipur

I have got into this college by my jee mains percentile. I have opted this college over two government colleges i have got because of affordability and less distant from my home towm . so the admission is solley based on jee score at my time just previous year .i had the previlage of choosing between 3colleges but i prefer skit cause i heard from my friends that the students are acedmically good so u will get the good environment to be honest it is true to an extent but its detroiting cause the college are literally taking more and more students based on donation . jecrc university i wanted to go there but fees is high....Read More
