I have already mentioned it is an research institution. All the departments here are autonomus. For every year the department will redefine the curriculum with the assistance of the concern school and by consulting with research scholars and emiritus professors of the department

Yes university of madras provides various internship on performence basis, and also send students to Other open internship/fellowship program

University of madras have three celebrations only freshers day, pongal(sankarthi), farewell day, but its departments that they conduct various technical and non technical programs, mostly lots of workshop, interactive lecture series, special seminars.

Every department having a different type of fee structure and the all the fee are framed and approved by the government of tamilnadu and higher education ministry of tamilnadu and UGC . It is a state university so there are no donations and all payment are made by a common portal.

The exam fixature is depends upon the school and departments concern although the university follows a common split semester pattern according to CBCS Every semester is split into 3 sets setional tests one and two each carry 20 marks and end semester carries 60 marks for 100 you need minimum of 50 to pass the exam

Admission process is very simple and a single window process after ur undergrad. On month of april check the universites website for online application portal. Fill your application online and take a print out of it and attach it with ur mark statements and hand it over to the concern department manually before the comerce of entrance exam
