Remarks

Overall it's a good college for the CS and IT aimed students.

Entrance Preview

Good environment, huge number of phd faculty in each and every department. It is having a good placement background. Very well disciplined. Nice class rooms which may increase our vision towards concepts. Especially the greenery which is the main one which attracted me so much. In my area it is the one which is near to me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is industry oriented. I have done my mechanical engineering in this institute. The course is averagely designed. It has three computer courses which include c,oops, data structures. It includes other stream subjects like Signal processing, network theory etc which are not that useful after my course completion. Remaining such as DOM and KOM are merged. Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines were mixed and it reduced our deep knowledge on them. Labs are good. Projects on each subject gives you ample amount of knowledge on each and every concept.

Internships Opportunities

No it won't and we need to find internships from industries by ourselves. But it was compulsory to find the internship by yourself. No stipend will be provided by the companies to where we go for internship. They are allowing the students to intern only at the end of second year. If you find a good company then it's good for you. Sometimes college tries it level best to provide internships from foreign countries. If you are interested you may go. But it may be bit costlier.

Placement Experience

3.5

For btech graduates, the only option is to get into IT companies or if your GPA is good then you can get into CORE companies. But their packages are around 3 lpa. You will be given training for placements for around 1 month in quantitaive aptitude, reasoning skills, english and verbal ability , group discussions. If you work hard and well you will be placed good. The max salary for mechanical is 6 lpa. If you are a cs or IT then max package recieved may be around 18 lpa. Overall it is average here.

College Events

4.5

There are two big events conducted by college. One is a national fest called samyak and other is college level fest called Surabhi. Both are well celebrated, includes one day dj night or you may call it as rocking day with music. There will be a theme for each and every event. Almost every festival, special days are celebrated as an event here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's bit expensive when compared to other normal colleges. But there is a semester wise payment which made it easy for the payers. It's around 2 lpa for each and every year without hostel expenses. Bank loans will be provided for the payment. But infrastructure requires that amount of fee to be paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are provided for exceptional students. Exceptional includes from marks of entrance exams, sports with state or national level. Loans are also provided well.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio for some branches are pathetic. For mechanical is so worse. In cs and ece branches it was good. Labs are good when compared to the local colleges. Extracurricular activities are given priority. Labs are par good from some universities. Debate sessions, robotic competitions, quizzes were held at intermediate times.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

They are good and I rate 4 out of 5. Amenities such as air conditioning and water facilities are well provided. Hostel has bit strict rules against ragging. Food was awesome and sometimes it may reverse. Mostly mess food covers all the local items available. Hostels contain both north as well as south indian food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are reported each and every action taken by the University. Any suggestions were taken by them and considered well. They are sometimes useful

Exam Structure

Exam structure here is good. It is practical oriented. The questions can't be expected from your text book. There are 3 internal exams which include up to 40 percent of the total marks. Remaining 60 percent is from final exams. The lab internals and external include 50 percent in these marks.

Admission

I have applied for the JEE mains exam. This institute accepted the test scores of it. I got around 170 in the exam. So I cleared it. Admission process include only your entrance exam marks. Institute access sometimes with the interests you have. JEE Mains, KLUEEE, EAMCET of andhra pradesh are the only exams you need to take for its admission.

Faculty

4

Faculty who possess phd are good. The assignment of the courses to the faculty need to be taken care. Young faculty need to be guided. Professors and associate professors are excellent in their teachings. Faculty who have industrial knowledge are very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
