Best college for academics

As a conclusion I can say that our college is very good for studies and placements. But the food is bad.

This college is very good at keeping the students disciplined and takes care of students regarding their academics. And placement opportunities are good for my desired stream. And I got a good rank in the entrance exam also. Bangalore is a technical hub of India and my college is present in Bangalore. They brings many Companies in Bangalore and we can get job in Bangalore itself.

Course curriculum is awesome. It keeps changing according to the the trending technologies as per my stream. Courses offered in a very organized way. Right from basics to advanced level. But they didn't plan the practice sessions properly for our batch. But now it is absolutely fine.

Yes but not for everyone, our college brings many startups in the name of internmela in every even semester. About 70 start-ups visit every year. And if you crack the interview, you may be offered a summer internship with some stipend. The startups include marketing and web development companies. It is not mandatory to attend the internmela.

Placements opportunities are good for Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication engineering streams, not very good for other branches. And most of the other branches students will also get placed in some companies. And packages offered are 18 lpa highest and 3.3 Lpa as least and average is 4 Lpa. Companies that will come for hiring are Cisco, Amazon, MicroFocus, VMware, Oracle, Infosys,TCS, Versa networks, R.Bosch, Continental, Arista Networks and many.

There will be many events conducted by different technical and non technical clubs. Different science fests and many technical fests and coding competitions. There are few major events like fresher's day event here it is called as Kalakriti and Kalanjali. Mad nights and flash mobs. Technical fests like Aarohan and pitch fest are conducted and organized by different clubs. A few international conferences also conducted.

Fees structure of our college at the time of my joining is Tuition fee - 1,48,500 Hostel fee - 68,250 But now it is Tuition fee is 2,60000 And Hostel fee is 85,000 The new fees structure is too expensive, but it is feasible for Coimbatore campus but for our campus it is a bit feasible for only Computer Science Engineering.

Scholarship is available for the merit students only for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala people. Not everybody can get the scholarship.

Our campus life is completely different than other colleges. For the fests and events Swamijis will come as guests not celebraties. We don't take it so serious because our academics are pretty good and so disciplined. Gender ratio is equal and most of them are from Andhra and Telangana. We have 6 computer labs of 70 students capacity each. Machine labs also present for circuit branches. Many coding competitions and robotics competitions and technical competitions will be conducted every year. Many students from outside colleges also attend.

Hostel rooms are good enough which four in a room sharing. Hostel has WiFi and Lan facility and hot water for bath. Mineral water is available for drinking. Gym with sufficient equipment and play ground. But food is too bad at quality. It is vegetarian food and not so tasty.

Alumni networks are good and they are present in best companies also. They also conducts company visits and events.

Exam structure is comprised of maths physics and chemistry as every other exam for engineering entrance. It is easier to crack if you even practice well for Jee mains or local engineering entrance exams like Eamcet also. Exam is concentrated on maths and physics and chemistry are at easy.

I have applied for the entrance exam from my intermediate college and then I scored a good rank which is 928. And after a few days I got a call letter from the college regarding the counselling procedure. I attended the Counselling and chose Computer Science Engineering as my desired stream. After a month I was asked to pay the annual fee which includes tuition fee and hostel fee as two separate demand drafts. That's it.

Faculty is one of the best for Computer Science Engineering stream. They are well educated and most of them are post graduated. And even the junior faculty is very talented. Few people are not very good at teaching even though they are well educated, only a few who are junior faculty. They are very care taking and responsible and often very open for clarifying doubts. Senior most faculty with years of experience are present here.
