Quality Education with Value for Money

Its among the top three colleges that one can get into through MH-CET.Fees is reasonable and the college placement is good.The infrastructure is good and the life at somaiya is great.All in all its good college to do MBA from.

MH-CET, 181/240, One of the best colleges to get into through MH-CET. Placement is decent and fees is reasonable. Other good colleges are JBIMS and Sydenham

Finance, HR, Operations and Marketing are the courses offered. The curriculum is good and is prescribed by Mumbai university.College has excellent faculty members with extensive practical experience in their respective fields.

Several companies visited campus for summer internship. Some of them offered stipend (max 10k per month), while there were several others which did not offer stipend. I did my summer internship in an IB firm. The stipend offered was 5k per month.

Several big companies visited the campus like Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Blomberg, Crisil, SG Analytics,ICICI, HDFC etc.Packages were in the rage of 6lacs-12lacs per annum.The average package was around 7.5 to 8 lacs.

Events (technical, cultural, management etc)were held at the college keeping student busy.Events were held at inter college levels with student visiting the campus. There was great competition and enthusiasm among the participant.

Fees is reasonable. In-fact its value for money kind of deals (in MMS course). The annual fees was around 2lacs which is reasonable given the quality of education provided and infrastructure of the college.

Yes loan facility is available for the students. Haven't availed one so don't have the exact details. Leading Banks do provide loans for students at Somaiya.

Campus is great. There are several indoor and outdoor activities that one can do. College has a big ground within the campus. It has a big auditorium which can accommodate 250+ students. No discrimination done based on religion, gender etc. Everyone is treated alike and given equal opportunities, its just that one needs to grab it.

Its average. The food is not that costly.Good thing is one would have 4-5 options in terms of mess and canteens as one big campus have different courses offered i,e, engineering, poly technique, Commerce, Management etc.So there are options to choose from

The alumni network at somaiya is strong.There is an annual event for alumni student. Frequent mails are sent to students about what new at somaiya and there is strong communication and linkage with alumni students

We had semi-annual pattern of examination.Two test were conducted with there marks been taken into consideration in the final report card.The exam structure was a balanced one (not very hectic)
