Course Curriculum Overview
This field is really for adventureous people. Right now it has more scope as compared to other subjects. There are several govt jobs as well for geology students, but Msc is required. Curriculum is overall really good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it's a central university so fees are really less as compared to other universities. U can apply for scholarship as well. There will be fee submission as per the semester. It will include all the things . You have to give the fees of hostel separately.
Campus Life
Campus life here is amazing. Full of energy and fests. There are fests organised by different subjects like by science and another fest by arts students. Overall huge campus and variety of canteens to try out different food items . The most famous is VT.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are fine. Rooms are also good. The mess of girls hostel are far better than boys hostel. U can apply for hostel only when you are from outside state or anywhere outside Varanasi. U get hostel by our rank as well sometimes.
Admission
U need to give entrance exam. If u cross the cut off marks then you will be called for counselling. There you have to the subject combination of three subjects. Out of which one will be yours hons subject.
Faculty
Faculty members are really good in number so are the students. They take very interactive classes, but at theast it depends on the professor. The teachers are approachable. You can approach them without any hesitation in class or in their office/cabin
