Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for BCom Accounts and Audit is quite relevant and comprehensive, especially for those pursuing a career in accounting or auditing fields. The course covers a wide range of topics, from basic accounting principles to advanced auditing techniques. This breadth ensures students have a solid foundation in various aspects of accounting.
Placement Experience
Students befome eligible for campus placements on their last semester.The percentage of students getting placed is pretty less.Federal bank visited our college for the most recent placement.I plan to pursue CA after completing my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee per semester is 27250 rupees.There are six semesters.The college provides campus placement but the number of companies coming to hire students is very less. The availability of scholarships is also very poor.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty average.There are very little programs conducted by the college.The management is very uninterested to conduct fests,programs etc. The management primarily focuses on academics and gives less priority to extra curricular activities
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is facility is actually good compared to other colleges in Trivandrum.Single rooms are provided for each student.Students taking admission here should immediately apply for the hostel favility as the seats are very limited.
Admission
Admission Process for B.Com Course Eligibility: For the B.Com course, the eligibility criteria were straightforward. Applicants needed to have completed their 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. The application forms were available both online on the college website and offline at the college admission office. The online application process was smooth, with clear instructions on how to fill out each section. There was a nominal application fee of 1000 rupees for general category students, with a reduced fee of 100 rupees for reserved category students. The application window typically opened in May and closed by the end of June. It was crucial to keep track of these dates to ensure timely submission of the application. The college provided reservation benefits as per government norms. Students from SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories had specific quotas
