A Suburban College and its impact on Village students

one big and major problem is the lack of teachers and the ratio of student and teachers is very bad. there is no oriented teaching and official activity. there is lacking Collaboration, Consultancy and Linkage.laboratory should be well equipped and all scientific facilities is to be well developed.

- In our locality, the best college is Netaji Mahavidyalaya. Its infrastructure, modernization, environment and excellent faculties are the main keys for my admission. Professors are very helpful and they teach us the modern and simple technique. All type of environment which are needs for students to grow up is available here.

Our college gives a clear pattern to our professors that way. 1.focus on objectives and student learning outcome that means it should be measurable,student-oriented. 2. Methods that is it should be well aligned with the objectives of the curriculum and it should be clear what type of performance would indicate that students are meeting the stated objectives. 3. The result that is Any results should be clearly described and related to the objectives and stated criteria for success. 4. Use of results i.e. The plan should discuss how the assessment results will be used and disseminated including faculty, administrators and students. 5. Questions to Ask in an Assessment Project are also maintained. 6. A useful reference is incorporated into the course curriculum.

Yes, our college provides internship for few projects students. The general stipend was not very high. Students can continue to parallel their degree course and projects work. besides this, if you get 60% or more marks in honors subjects, college waived his/her total tuition fees.

As it is situated in a rural area that's why our college cannot provide jobs in so many. But collaboration with our Burdwan university every year a job fair is organized where many companies take participates in a job fair. A lot of students get the job from a job fair. Besides these our college has organized daily training with Tata Consultancy Services and every year TCS gets huge placements for our college students. A separate job cel has been created. these all opportunities you will not get any other colleges.

1. Annual Function is celebrated each and every year. various social and cultural programme held. 2.Freshers celebration- it is held after submission of first-year students and for the new students who take admission in our college. it is a very cultural programme at our college. 3.Saraswati Puja- Swaraswati Puja is celebrated the inauspicious day and we all gather from the morning. actually, we are who have recently passed out and current students enjoy lots. 4. Besides these Independence days, Environment day, Mothers day, Biswa Bhasa Divas, Netaji Birthday, college foundation day, NSS social and awareness camp and many more programme we are celebrating.

As it is state government affiliation college, all rules are instructed by a government of West Bengal and UGC. Every month one sixty rupees have to pay as monthly fees. besides this, four to six thousand(4000-6000) have to deposit to college as admission fees. it depends on subjects to subjects. for science and practical based subjects laboratory fees higher than nonpractical based subjects. And exam fees(as per University Of Burdwan) are taken from students. moreover, fees are very nominal to any other university.

Few scholarships are given to the students who have to fulfill criteria as per college norms. those students who will get 605 or above college will provide scholarship and the qualified students do not need to pay tuition fees for their course. there is no other loan available for studying purpose. but few teachers helps economically and meritorious students for continuing their courses.

In arambagh subdivision, Netaji Mahavidyalaya has a huge campus. All students who had taken admission come from the rural area. In college, there is a peaceful environment for study.teachers and staffs are very familiar to students. Male and Female are worked together in the lab and in other social functions. Inter-lab competitions are also interesting for students and also teachers. sports,intra college competition, quiz contest and many more are held in our college. in our college has a separate computer facility for students.smart class room, wifi, library facility, sports, training for comp. exam all are available here.

In Netaji Mahavidyalaya, there are three hotels. two hostels for girls and one for boys. Hostel super is Pradip Kumar Adhya who is a college faculty member. Girls Hostel are attached to the college campus and boys hostel is situated in the bank of river Darakeswar. Boys hostel is very large and four storied building and has numerous rooms for students. in one room you have to share with other mates. no single room for students. Wifi, indoor games large playground, food, the good and pleasant environment is available. for a hostel you have to apply to college and allow you for hostel.monthly you have to pay 1000 to 1100 RS.

in our college an alumni network is present and yearly an alumni meet is also held for our college improvement. many alumni are well established and they help a lot to the students who are economically poor and studious.

I am writing it part by part. 1. Weekly lab test for practice-based subjects. Every week lab test is done for improvement our daily knowledge. 2. The monthly Mock Test-Monthly mock test is also a very important test for us. All question are set according to a monthly syllabus basis. as a result at the end of the session, we can easily access our beginner syllabus and have a grip on our total syllabus. 3. Quarterly Exam System- it has a deep impact on each student. Both theory and practical exam have been held. Here we can cover our previous syllabus and new syllabus also. 4.Final Exam- Final exam take at the end of our session. besides these honors, students can take two years at a time and they can improvement exam if they get fewer marks.

After 12th college released a notice for admission. All the students had submitted their marksheet and other documents. After scrutiny college had published merit list step by step. total process was online basis for perfection.then a 40 students merit were prepared. as students capacity for zoology subjects was 40. If any students left college for this another merit list also prepared.

I think that Good teaching is directing the teaching-learning process so that changes of a relatively permanent nature are brought about in the learners as a result of the instruction. Understanding of students is a very good point of our faculty. their vast knowledge also helps us lot. when they were taking the class, they were given practical demos. Our teachers took a regular basis exam and took weekly one class for backward students.
