Serene, green and eco friendly campus

There is always room for improvement and my college is moving forward to a spot of providing education of excellent quality

I chose this college, based on the suggestions provided by my friends and family and also I personally visited the campus a few times and found it to be very impressive. I chose this college also because of the marks I scored in my high school and the merit marks suited my entry to the campus as well

The curriculum is dynamic to be honest. There has been a few upgrades in the past three years and all the changes that they brought to the campus and the academic curriculum have really benefited the students in a big way. It is not just the infrastructure but also the academic quality that has been consistently improving

Yes, they provide internship opportunities not within the campus but with the partnership of other companies.

The placements this year have been wonderful and better than the last year. The companies' expectations soar up every year, but the students are trained in a way such that, they meet those expectations quite easily. The department provides help and assistance whenever required

We conduct an expo for the school students every year. Apart from that, we conduct a pre-placement talk to the students during their pre-final year. There is the Tamil mandram, book club, the TedXSKCT, SKCTvoice that are conducted every year. Apart from these, there are several clubs run by the students themselves where they organize the events and meetings themselves

The fees structure for those who come through merit are decided my the government and the other fees that they refer is quite nominal and most of the students do not find it difficult to pay the fees. The management fees vary every year and cannot be predicted

First graduate scholarship, SC/ST , MBC scholarship, AICTE scholarship are some of the facilities, and the students can avail loan as well

The labs are excellent and are ample for the students who even work in the evenings, there is a special center of excellence in our college that helps students to work and experiment on their projects anytime The management provides support for these who excel in sports and also encourage competitions that are conducted by the students themselves

I don't belong to the hostel as I am a day scholar. As far as I heard from my hostel friends the hostel is quite good and does not pose serious restrictions to the students inside the campus. The mess food is average when compared to the food that they eat outside

The college has created a platform for the alumni to connect with the current students and they provide good support as well

The exam structure to award the internal marks are challenging and also beneficial to the student's knowledge, there isn't pressure on the student during the exam period but neither are the exams easy. overall the pattern of the exams test the students true potential

The admission process was a long process and i got admission by merit. Every year the benchmark is set for every courses and according to my preference, i had to choose one college and thus i selected this one. As it is an autonomous college, i had to reach out to anna university in chennai for admission process

The faculty is more polite and straightforward, with their medium of communication is more student-friendly and not like other boring lecturers. The tutors of every class are quite friendly, supportive and promptly attend to the grievances of the student.
