It's the most recognized college in all odisha.

I just have bad reviews about college because here we have to do everything on our own and the college environment feels dumb.

First of all being reputed govt. the college I decided to be a part of it besides its annual fees is quite low. The main thing about this college is it sets a high percentage selection for students thus making it obvious that college includes the meritious student.

The course curriculum is too good and its based on the recent project named Human Genome Project and has the brightest scope all over the world with advanced research line. It is one of the recent most studied course all over India. Includes statistics,Bio statistics,mathematics bioinformatics,history,C programming computer science.

College doesn't come with any kind of internships or stipends that's the saddest part of pursuing course here.

In a matter of placements and job opportunities, I would like to give it one out of 5 ratings because campus and placements come in the fifth year with one company hiring 2-3 students. Overall job opportunities and placements are quite hard to get here.

Apart from the department events we generally we celebrate freshers, farewell annual day programme, seminar, blood donation camp, debates, and discussions. Department events rarely come with seminars only. There are still more events conducted unknown to me.

The fee structure is feasible around 25k per year. As I am pursuing a self-financial course it comes with average fee structure but in the general department of our college Annual fees are very less around 3K to 5 k per year that's too feasible for any category.

Medhabruti is the only scholarship I have known about in our college which offers scholarship based on your merit score.

Initially campus life seems so good because of vast diversity of children all around from India and and labs and sport competitions are held every year which encourages our competitive spirits beside there are lot more children who are very popular in many kinds of field.

Hostel facilities are good but mess foods are not too good. Maths provides 3 days of nonveg and rests veg depending upon mushroom and Paneer categories. Besides, there are many other private hostels near the college that comes with bad facilities with a comparison to the college hostel.

Up to what I know my department it doesn't come with any helpful alumni network or senior students that can guide you because pattern changes each year.

Exam structure is quite well and happens around the expected time of the year. But the sample paper and questions are not revised in classes so we face a lot of difficulties for performing our best. Each year exam pattern changes a bit and and the marking scheme even.

I took admission and entrance form from office and assigned with all attested documents and photocopies and submitted before last day and then after attempting entrance exam,i was selected and called for admission and then made a draft and completed all other formalities.

To be honest, faculties are not so excellent, besides there is are no other activities except studying and freshers and farewell. Time for classes is repeatedly changed by faculties. Teaching interaction is not quite well and teacher and student participation is nill.
