Campus Life of JEC Jabalpur

In my opinion course curriculum of this college needs improvement. Because college administration is following a slightly old curriculum. It is not that the college curriculum is not good, there are still many good things in the college curriculum. I am from the Information Technology branch. In this branch we are taught core subjects like Java programming, Python Programming, Computer Network, Computer Architecture etc which help us to contribute in real life projects. The difficulty level of exam is medium but there is very strict checking of the students before the exam.

Top recruiters of our college are HCL Tech, Wipro, Tata Consultancy service(TCS), IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, LNT etc. Highest package in our college is 10-15 LPA. Lowest package in our college is 2.5 - 3.5 LPA. Average package in our college is 4-6 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is vary every year. Almost 100+ students are placed. Most of the students preparing for Gate, CAT, and civil services. College provides necessary resources for preparing competitive exams. Also books are available for preparing competitive exams. Professors of college are very supportive and help students in preparing these exams.

The annunal sports fest of JEC is AAVAHAN. It is the 3-5 days fest organised in April. This events include various games and competitions such as Cricket, Futsal, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi etc. Various events organised by college clubs on Entrepreneurship, Programming, Culutural fest, language fest etc. In my opinion Library is the best place in my college. All types of books for competitive exams, self improvement, Business related books are available in our college library also newspapers and magazines are available. In Jabalpur Engineering college the eligibility criteria is same as the other government state engineering college affiliated to RGPV University. In this college selection for BE program based on the Jee Mains score card. Jabalpur Engineering college is a government state engineering college so everything is done through the MPDTE website from form filling of counselling to allotment letter of college. You can avail reservation benefits based on the MPDTE guidelines. Reservations like Freedom Fighter, Sainik, SC/ST, NCC etc. are available. If we talk about admission process in this college it's easy compared to other colleges because the staff is very supportive and the procedure is very easy and simple. You have to fill the admission form and submit it then after some level verification you have to pay the fees that's it.
