Various events are conducted by Oru college every year both Academic and Non-Academic events are organized by students and the management. 1. Ted-X one of the famous events has been conducted in the college every year. 2. The college campus which is situated both at the top of a hill and the peak of the city there are various ways to lead a social life. The climate is always a plus point to the college. A pleasant and soothing environment and a cool climate give us a fresh ah refreshing mindset. The college gives us an enormous opportunity to showcase our skills and talents. Also, we can improve them with the help of various clubs. Labs are open even at late nights so that students can use them effectively. Various clubs like IOT, programming club, fine arts club, NSS, sports club, oratory club, etc are functioning for merely students benefit.

There are Different hostels for Girls and Boys. The Hostel is large and very spacious so that students can be comfortable. The timing and rules of the hostel are strictly followed and the students are insisted to do the same. The security is excellent so there is no need to worry about the safety of the students. Buses are provided for a hostel to the college so there is no Worry about transportation. Hostel mess food is served at the correct time to the students with good hygiene. The menu is decided by the students and it is changed by them every month.

Alumni meet is conducted once in 6 months just to interact with students and faculty members to clear their doubts and to give them suggestions on how to proceed further.

The Exam Structure and Syllabus of each subject are decided by the college considering the student's ability to learn and understand each and every topic which is necessary for the particular subject. Students are always requested to gain knowledge, beyond the subjects, also faculty helps them in doing so. Highest priority is given for developing job skills, Even the syllabus of each subject is framed in that way. Only our interest to learn matters here.
